Honestly, you guys look like a different team. With the Jets making a deep playoff push, that game scares me. You guys are playing with heart and fire.

    Much respect!

    Thanks for the respect.

We just needed to get rid of Saddlebag Henne, and our offense took off and could finally score points.

Props to the Phins. They are playing great football. It's a shame they started so poorly, because they would be rolling into the playoffs with some serious momentum.

They are easily the best team on the jets remaining schedule.

Hey, dude, don't listen to the negative nancies. Thanks for the kudos. Great to see a Jets fan showing class.I am looking forward to a game preceded by huge amounts of trash talk and culminating in a dogfight over four quarters decided by a last minute touchdown. Dolphins victory, of course.

IF healthy, yes they would be but they are one seriously banged up football team, RIGHT now we are playing better ball than them.

If there is one game that can save Tony Sparano's career here, it will be to beat the Jets. If he can do that and beat the Pats, he stands a chance.

I have no idea. I don't participate in that forum. Not sure if it will be as amusing as this season's posts here though. I was particularly fond of the ones that had Luck leading the next Dolphin dynasty.

True, true. We did underestimate how good this team was. We're better than we thought!

I'd take that over a coach and team who claims Super Bowl aspirations for an 8 win team.

Ryan had missed the SB by one game two years in a row. Considering your last playoff win was 10 years ago, you know you'd take that. Now stop being a weenie :-)

For weeks I have been saying Moore is nothing but a back-up, but I must say, he is changing my mind and he is easy to pull for. That being said, draft a QB in round 1

The Jets fans in this thread are not-so-secretly thrilled that the Dolphins are playing badly enough to not make the playoffs but well enough to miss out on a franchise QB in the draft.

Psychological projection or projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person subconsciously denies his or her own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, usually to other people. Thus, projection involves imagining or projecting the belief that others originate those feelings.

You’ve placed yourself in the position of defending Jets fans. Are you sure you want to go there? Really, really sure?

Also, while you have your DSM IV out, please tell us the clinical term for believing that a person or group historically antagonistic toward one’s interests is now actually on one’s side.

From the perspective of a division rival, having the competition perpetually bad enough to miss the playoffs but good enough to not get draft picks high enough to improve the talent pool is great. Everyone else in the AFC East was thrilled when the Bills went 7-9 four years in a row.

    Yup.

You don't want the team in your division to be really good, or really bad. Being really bad gives them a shot at drafting franchise changing players.

You want them exactly in the middle. Too good to be in the best picks of the draft, but too bad to ever compete for a playoff spot. Which is exactly what the Dolphins are doing.

When a Jets fan is giving you sympathy and being nice, he's pretty happy about the Dolphins position. He would never do that to the Pats.

I actually like Henne. I thought the running game and offensive line was not playing good enough during his time starting. Now, I think everything is starting to click a lot better. Week 17 scares me, because I truly feel we can win against KC at MetLife, then @ Philly, Giants at MetLife, and then away to Miami.

The way we're playing right now, I don't see us losing to the Iggles or Bills in the next 2 weeks. That leaves the Pats, which I think we should lose unless the old rivalry craziness kicks in...and the Jets.

And what will be his last game, and against the most hated rival...and a locker room full of guys who love him and play hard for him...I think we're going to murder the Jets in this game.

And Matt Moore, the 7-9 run, and all of this last ditch effort and pride will leave the team and fan base in a legit, bloody, ugly battle royal the likes we've never seen. Rough waters ahead Dolphans, and Im not sure what lays beyond. The next Month is crystal clear though.
