Locked up the #1 pick, like a boss. Strength of Schedule - Hardest Record.....................Record Holder.........Average Weekly Average..............2k5..................132.02
Team BFT comes from 60+ points down entering the SNF game to come back and beat sick. Monster clutch performances by Eli, Nicks and Jackson on SNF and MNF got it done. Youre next Trowa
Well looks like BFT is in the League Championship... but the match-up between Nothing But The Bess and Forsett In Her Butt will be decided tomorrow night between Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown.
In other news... How in the world does the Jets defense allow LeSean McCoy to score THREE times? And then how does Miami's defense allow CJ Spiller to score TWO times? And lastly.. how does the Ravens defense allow Ryan Mathews score TWO times? I went into today thinking my money league match-up was pretty good... but of course not. These good defenses all bent over to running backs today and made me lose my game. Maybe had Marshall held on to those other two touchdowns... Or Leslie Frazier didn't have his head up his *** and gave Adrian Peterson the rock more than ten times... if only. /endrant
Tell em why you mad Mat, tell em why you mad!!!! lol Actually, I know Lesean McCoy's cousin, and he said earlier today that Mccoy was ready to go for this game. I dont know what the motivation was but clearly his cousin wasnt kidding. As for Spiller, I dont know but Im thrilled that Trowa didnt start Spiller. The chargers always wreck shop in December, 22-2 in recent years under Rivers in December. I saw this coming. Unfortunately my money league teams were ruined a long time ago thanks to Andre Johnson, Gates, Manning, and then later on injury to Cutler and underproduction this year from DeSean Jackson.
I'm in the finals in 2 of 4 leagues(well one team is co-managed with Boik). Pretty decent season for me and hopefully can take home some money in the other league. I'm very interested to see how this draft goes next year. Is Luck going to be the 1st pick in our draft or one of the RBs that land a potential starting job?
Sadly my team was hurting from the loss of Andre Johnson and Darren McFadden still (finally got Peterson and Miles Austin back)... I still don't know how I finished #2 in the standings with all my injuries... Stevie Johnson and Brandon Lloyd were my supposed bench WRs (with A.Johnson, Marshall, and Austin being the starters) but they managed to crack my starting line-up nearly every week due to injuries. I guess I should have listened to you with your Reggie Bush love... Man did he ever blow up in the 2nd half of the season.
Barring a stat change.... it'll be Nothing But The Bess versus Blount Force Trauma in the championship game. Seriously though... losing a playoff game by .04 points? I actually have some sympathy for that.
I look at that and think, "thank Marino for fractional points." A playoff game ending in a tie is a nightmare.
Wow I can't believe I lost like that. I knew I should of started Keller over Ballard. Good job Nothing But the Bess. It's been a fun season
I thought I was absolutely toast after those Falcon WRs game on Thursday... especially with Aaron Rodgers and Adrian Peterson to go. Adrian Peterson not showing up lost me my game in another league.
I believe that Yahoo! will close the league up after Monday Night Football, so if you have any last-second keeper moves to make for next year, do it before tomorrow night. When MNF begins, I'm recording everyone's rosters and will use those as the basis for next year's league. Speaking of next year's league, Yahoo!'s dynasty league advertising was… slightly deceptive. Depending on what additions they make next year, there may not be a way to import rosters and just run a rookies-only draft. I'm going to keep an eye on what changes they announce at the beginning of the 2012 fantasy season, but bear in mind we may have to make one more site move. I'll spend the offseason investigating ESPN's dynasty options, as well as other lesser-known fantasy sites. Whichever site lets us run a rookies-only draft and allows us to temporarily carry more than the max roster size prior to a roster cutdown date will get our "business". If Yahoo! doesn't change the way they handle dynasty rosters, we may be faced with having to cut players prior to the draft in order to have roster space. Suggestions are welcome. Merry Christmas and go Heat.
Let's get off of Yahoo, it sucks. I had two leagues on ESPN the past two years, and it's my favorite. Not sure what it offers for dynasty. I was kind of disappointed in the keeper options, but maybe dynasty is better.
So you want to change leagues again? WTF. Whats the point in starting a dynasty league if your going to dump it a year later?
I'm recording everyone's rosters and draft position, so even if we change hosts, you'll still have your team.
If you want a good site http://www.rtsports.com/ I did a league on that site last year for half a year before I got kicked out for having an opinion. The site does cost like $100 a year to run a dynasty or keeper league on so thats up to us I suppose. While the site was good, the people in that league aside from 1 were not. I think ESPN sucks so
I'll keep it in mind. I'm not going to look at anything for a while, in part because sites tend to add or change features during the fantasy offseason, so doing research now is pointless. But I'm not opposed to instituting something like an $8 entry fee to cover site cost, assuming we incur one. This isn't a bad league if I do say so myself.
Fleaflicker is a good suggestion but it'd have to be set up as a keeper league. I think you can have up to like 20 keepers though.
