I have forgiving JT for that year long brain fart known as being a Jet.

The man is a Dolphin at heart and congrats to him moving up the sack charts!

He looked pretty darn good yesterday out there. Nice to see he can still bring it at his age.

I'd like to see Jason Taylor back. He's not a great Nickel rusher, but there aren't a lot of 3-4 OLBs who can play as well moving backwards as he can.

I suppose Manny Lawson is a free agent, though.

He may not be as fast as he was but he adjusts to how the rush affects the pocket. Yesterday he was on the right outside and peeled off the block once he realized that Vick was runniing straight from the pocket collapsing. Ended up being the sack that moved him up.

He may not be voted in 1st ballot but no doubt he is a HOF'r. I can't wait for the Taylor haters to jump in about how he "betrayed" the team & fans by going to the Jets.

I think JT is definitely a first ballot hall of famer but we'll see for sure if strahan gets first ballot because right now if Taylor retired after this year he'd of played the same amount of years as strahan. Strahan has 3 more sacks but JT has 4 more interceptions, 2 more tds, over 100 more tackles and 26 more forced fumbles. JT changed the way defenders play the game with his hybrid style. Look at all the top pass rushers all built like JT playing the role that he was the first to have success at.

Interesting perhaps but don't see that he isn't a HOF'er , and being a Miami fan doesn't enter into that conclusion for me.

The other factor helping Strahan is the SB.

Yep, especially since it was at the end of his career and will be fresh in the minds of the voters. Being on a SB winner or not often determines which side of the fence a player falls regarding the HOF.

i agree. but 1st ballot may not happen (not that I care). he really didn't get many opportunities outside of the regular season during his prime. his best years were "wasted" if you want to look at it like that

Jason Taylor will no doubt be a 1st ballot HOF inductee. He has always had the respect from players around the league and has had an amazing career. No he doesn't have a ring but that isn't a big deal with #'s like his. Love the guy and hope he comes back next year!!
