You didnt tell me a damn thing that you knew as fact. So stop trying to say you knew. WE ALL HEAR THE SAME RUMORS AS YOU DO!
This is OT, but fact: Les Miles will NEVER be the HC at UM, Lloyd Carr has blackballed him due to some extra curricular activities
The media made up all those rumors about Miles to Michigan because Les Miles is a Michigan alum. Pretty much my point. It was all bs, just like this Al Golden to PSU stuff.
Math has nothing to do with it. You do know that he could still leave right? All the extension does is insure a larger buyout. But go ahead man. Keep acting like you know it all.
The media did not make up the Penn State rumors. Golden said a long time ago that it would be a dream job as would Miami.
Streeter is leaning towards going pro. His dad wants him to stay, though. Btw, he is graduating in a few weeks.
Hope he got a first round grade from somewhere. Next season, he would be a first rounder for sure if he avoids injury. Losing him will be hard on the Canes but after not playing for almost his entire time here, I dont blame him
Lamar should leave as well, if he has a good draft grade he should take the $$$ as he has nothing left to gain and much to lose by coming back to play in 2012.
Yep, and for a Rb, it makes no difference when they come out, as a redshirt Sophomore or Senior, they are as good as they will be in college. So it makes no sense to stay, he will blow up the combine, his burst is amazing, Javhad Best like, maybe better
Um, he and Lamar were the main reasons they got 6 wins. What do you want them to do? Go 1-10 next year? They were very important to the team but if they go i wish them well. Especially Streeter, who was in Shannons dog house because Shannon was too stubborn to help the kid.
Congrats to Miami PG Shane Larkin for winning ACC Freshman of the week. Larranaga really found something in this kid.
#Norland's Duke Johnson had 6 runs over 25 yards Friday: 49, 67 (TD), 32 (TD), 71 (TD), 25, 33. He had 98 yards on his other 21 touches
And a 50 yard TD called back. And that 32 yard TD came on one shoe. 27 carries, 375 yards. Anyone who says Duke Johnson isn't the best recruit in Florida needs to have their head examined. Any recruiting website that doesn't have him as a 5 star needs to be shut down. I could give 2 ****s if Miller leaves for the NFL. Duke Johnson, 2012 Freshman of the Year. Take that **** to the bank.
He needs 25 pounds added to his frame or he may not last a season. He damn sure is a special talent though. Lets hope keeping the strength coach was a good choice because I've been unimpressed for a few years.
I've been unimpressed as well. But I do think it's a valid point that the head coach is the one that sets up how he wants the strength and conditioning to be run. As for Duke, if LaMichael James/Dexter McCluster can go without injury, so can he. It's hard to get injured when nobody can get close enough to tackle you
Being 212 helps him for sure. He is not a player that likes to get hit but yet he sticks his nose inbetween the tackles alot. Yes, the plays call for him to run up the middle a lot but If he was 180 pounds, he would be dead doing that. Johnson is more of an elusive back. Lamar is a cut an go runner.
BTW, here's that shoeless 32 yard run by The Duke.
Dont you mean someone tell the offensive line to open some holes so he can cut and go? That big ol line gets pushed back more than I've ever seen a HUGE line get pushed.
The last few games the o-line did look like crap, but Miller got more hesitant as well. Early in the year he was able to extend plays and make something out of nothing. It seems like injuries and fatigue got to him. And if we ever run a stretch play again, I'll kill something.
OL wasn't that good, but Lamar was still a dancing queen out there. Absolutely soft the second half of the season. There were tons of times where he could of had good yardage had he just cut and go instead of trying to do too much.
I don't agree with tons but yes, he did dance too much at times. He does not like hard contact. You could see him take a whack then become hesitant the next time he touched the ball. He has good vision but when he knew he did not have a hole, he was looking for an out. I don't expect him back but had he, he may have had one hellava season with the correct conditioning.
I dunno, I thought his vision was real good in the first half. Was physical even. Just didn't seem that way the second half of the season. Maybe the shoulder injury had something to do with it.
BREAKING: Miami RB Lamar Miller is leaving early for the NFL draft, per a source. -Bruce Feldman I really hope the Pats don't pick him up somehow. But good for him.
It's a good decision for him. For a guy who gets nicked up a lot, better get to the NFL and get that money quick. As for us, Duke Johnson, Freshman All American, calling it now.
Just saw Ray Ray is coming back. Count me as a Meh for that news. I had high hopes for him. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk
Meh pretty much sums it up for Ray Ray. All the physical talent in the world. Maybe he has a good year in him, who knows.
http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-12/acc/2012-miami-hurricanes-football-schedule.php Looks like another conference game to open the season...yay So stupid.
Sebastian the Ibis has decided to forgo another season, and will now enter his name in the NFL draft.
