Considering Sparano was dangling on Henning's nuts and threw Henne under the bus.... You may be right. :pointlol:

I'm trying to resist making jokes... because of karma and he might be better off with less to do. No more worrying about defense or clock management. And players do like him.

Knowing our recent bad luck the Jets offense will look better than ever. But I of course hope they are even worse, I really hope he implements the Fail Goal offense and they finish 7-9.

Oh and the Jets ran the Wildcat against us week 17...I bet the try it more next season.

A friendly reminder: Tony Sparano has never been an offensive coordinator. In 2007, he was the Cowboys' offensive line coach/running game coordinator. Wade Phillips would decide if the coming play was to be a run or a pass; if it was a pass, Jason Garrett chose the play, and if it was a run, Tony Sparano chose the play.

So this is the first time Sparano has ever had to actually run an offense. This should be interesting.

No. Sanchez is the quarterback there until Ryan and/or Tannenbaum are fired.

They need a backup Qb who can compete with Sanchez.

In the rational world's opinion, yes. In the Jets organization's opinion, Mark Sanchez is the undisputed starting quarterback of the New York Jets. Woody Johnson, Mike Tannenbaum, and Rex Ryan are all in on Sanchez.

They may look for a backup QB, but it won't be Chad Henne.

Maybe he can alter the Fist Pump into the Foot Pump.

This makes me so happy! Can't wait to see the Jets sink even further. Great idea to bring Sparano back for 1 more year so he can go and help destroy NY even more next season. Woohoo!

Sparano and Haley Co-OC's with S=run and H=pass could be very effective like back in their Cowboy days together.....if that combo happens I think it would help Sanchez and the Jets O very much.

I think this is a good hire for the Jest, believe it or not, and it is a good hire for our rivalry.

Jest players are claiming the Nacho was lazy, I can believe it, be interesting to see what Sparano can do with him as Tony S worked insanely hard.

Sparano had success beating Jets....that helps Jets figure out some D side weaknesses, and helps Jets O figure out a game plan that has been used to beat them.

If Haley comes on board too, I dont see how this could be anything but an upgrade over B. Schott.

I think the guy they can't lose is Bill Callahan, adding Sparano and Haley is nice and whatnot, but Callahan had that Oline performing at a high level for yrs, they had a down yr this yr but would figure to rebound better if he was still there.

    OT Houck retired this week.

Wow Sparano as an OC. Even when I'm sober and it's true it makes me LMFAO!

Wow there are already some Dolphins fans who are like "What?! How could he go to the Jets! TRAITOR!" (Not on here) Wow some people make me sad.

I'm baffled....He got fired and a year earlier Ross and Ireland were on a plane trying to replace him...yeah, I'm sure he really cares. Just like JT, he was pushed out by Parcells, I could care less that he went to the Jets.

yup....Offensive line coach for the New York Jets, Bill Callahan, will not be renewing his contract with Gang Green. He will start the 2012 season with the Dallas Cowboys—replacing the retiring OLC Hudson Houck.
