Possessions per game sounds like it has more to do with a defense's ability to create turnovers and how fast a team jacks up a shot than how good an offense is. Nobody is going to tell me Charlotte, Washington, Cleveland, and Sacramento have a better offense than us. We're a slower paced team in the half court offense, I don't think that makes us any worse than a team who shoots 5 seconds into the shot clock imo.

That's why he said PACE coupled with OFF. Eff. tells how good you are on offense.

The Cavs have slightly higher PACE than Philly, but their Offensive Efficiency is 8.7 pts lower.

And being able to get up good shots fast is a good thing for an offense. Just because you have quick possessions doesn't meant you're simply jacking up shots. Also, forced turnovers by a defense are important for making the offense better because they lead to fast breaks and easier points (and of course more possessions).

Well Minnesota had no one that could guard Andrea Bargnani. Absolutely dominated our forwards. Speaking of domination but Amir Johnson outplayed Kevin Love on offense, defense, and on the glass. Calderon and the Raptors did a very good job on Rubio.

Beating the Boobcats by 4 isnt impressive. Our coach is blithering idiot who nearly blew the game for us despite great efforts from Chandler and Shumpert

It was a joke. The Knicks havent looked good all year most likely due to the fact that they are lazy. Emotionlesss, lazy, lackadasical players in a year of condensed games is a bad combo. Fire Antoni and bring in someone who can get the most out of his players and not the LEAST.

Well again Aldeman plays the same hapless starters to get Minnesota down by 24 only to battle back. Chicago was cold blooded in that 4th. On the bright side it looks like Aldeman is finally considering shaking the starting 5.

Desperation threes with the clock running out falling out of bounds tend to miss.

Mr. Clutch Dwyane Wade turned into Kobe Bryant and started shooting everything in the 4th. They missed FT's like it was their job. Dorrell Wright hit more threes in this game than he had hit all year,. Nate Robinson hit a 40 foot shot to tie it. They lost. On to the next.

Not when the Clippers are also on a B2B.

    Not this season.

and honestly, the Heat losing this last game, complicates things. They bounce back violently from losses. Ask Indiana.

In My statistical index (My own formula)..I have this as the NBA top 5:

    1. 76ers
    2. Heat
    3. Bulls
    4. Blazers
    5. Lakers

I weight Eff. stats based on Off., Def. Eff., Rebounding, Assists, and PACE

If you allow for strength of schedule, Heat and Sixers flip flop, but it is razor thin. Heat need to demolish the Clippers tonight to move ahead, then again, the Sixers play the Knicks.

Sixers and Heat are side by side in SOS so that can go either way as you said. Speaking of SOS, the Knicks have the worst SOS in the league and have still only managed a 5-4 record
