Report: Jeff Fisher has agreed to coach.......

Last yr i had a source that was so close to harbaugh and was even told by harbaugh that it was going to be miami, up until it wasnt, so i wont believe it till there is a contract and a press conference scheduled.

 

Latest rumour is that Fisher has been sold by the sales pitch coming from Peterson and Ross, and really impressed with the product they have put together. So Fisher is going to join them in selling FanVision devices and retire from coaching. Ross gets his man.

 

FanVision IS the future, and the future is NOW.

 

Off season threads are so much better than threads during the season. It's not even close.

Pretty good. He once attended a press conference sporting a Peyton Manning jersey. I think it was for one of Peyton's charities.
I'd post a pic, but everytime I try it says I exceeding my quota of something. Not really sure what it's talking about, seeing as how I'm borderline computer illiterate.

Jeff Fisher = Kyle Orton. Mediocre but the hot ticket item because he's the best available.

 

There's a lot of people in NFL circles who would think that analogy is waaaaaaay off.

I somewhat agree with Tucker.

We've been through this before with Saban, a guy who waffled, couldn't make a decision, etc. He didn't really want to be here.

If Fisher can't make up his mind in a reasonably fast amount of time, assuming that contract terms and parameters have been agreed to, I'm all for moving on.

 

For the love of God, He needs to announce his intentions today! One way or the other cause we need to get the rest of this train moving!

 

Absolutely, and I don't think he's trying to suggest he has inside information.

But the longer this goes I'm starting to wonder if this is a man struggling between what he believes are 2 not so great situations rather than a guy who has a pick of what he thinks are 2 great situations and just trying to find the right fit.

 

Or he is waiting for Indy to make a decision..

I mean wouldn't it be a no brainer to choose Indy with Peyton and Luck on the roster? The guy would be stepping in to the NFL version of Phil Jackson when he joined the Lakers.

 

Thought the same thing last night when I saw that Indy's coach might be let go. HMMMMMMMMM

What waffling? No, seriously. Fisher interviewed with us first. Then he made two visits with the Rams, the first with Kroenke in Denver, then a second meeting over the weekend in St. Louis that included a tour of the facilities and a meeting with Sam Bradford. Then he left, got home, and started mulling his choice. He only passed the 48 hour mark yesterday.

How is 2-3 days waffling? This hasn't been dragging out for weeks or months. It's been half a week. Let's chill.
