and its in Miami , right ? This should be fun. Regardless of record, you just know its going to be on primetime.
Uhhhhh, they're not putting a battle of crappy teams on at prime time due to the Fisher coaching thing that will be a distant memory even to us by then. It might merit a 4 PM start at most.
Its more about the fact that Ireland has kissed Ross's *** to the point of being a gigantic ****ing hindrance in the search for a coach.
No its not. Both teams suck. No one outside of StL and Miami really cares about "The Great Jeff Fisher Courting of 2012."
If it's opening week, there is no way they're making it a prime time game. It probably wouldn't even be a 4 PM game in that scenario.
It could be on prime time if both teams are in the playoff hunt in like week 14 and the other possible SNF games are weak. That's about all I can think of.
The only argument against it being the opener is that I tend to think the NFL prefers to stay within conferences for the opening week. I could see this being an exception to that and being the opener.
We'll be lucky to get 2 games in Primetime. Pretty sure very few in Miami or Stl care. The Rams will probably end up in Los Angeles anyway...and the Dolphins have done an excellent job pissing off fans since 2004 to help make attendance dwindle. And if this team is trailing the Jets and Pats again when we play them, the stadium will be half empty. It would be blacked out, but Ross will buy the tickets...again.
