Don't know much about Kearse, aside from him being 6-4. Love those tall receivers.

And it's quite obvious how Golden is trying to get big up front. Briscoe, possibly Goldman (PLEASE GOD), and Sherit/Bryant. Add in Chick and Grimble from last year's class as well.

And LOL @ this USF staff writer making up sh*t.

    @gregauman Greg Auman
I'm told that Miami Norland RB Duke Johnson backed out of visit to USF when Hurricanes told him his scholarship was pulled if he took visit.

What about that is far fetched? Plenty of schools drop this, and either kids tell them that they are good with their offer, or they say GFY, I'm gonna go on visits.

How is it not farfetched? Yes, Al Golden told the best player in our recruiting class, the biggest Miami lock ever, if he went on a visit to USF, he'd have his offer pulled. Dumbest **** I've ever heard. He backed out of his USF visit because the only reason he was visiting there in the 1st place was to recruit kids to Miami. If there's nobody there worth recruiting, no point in going on a visit.

Of course this happens, but not to top notch recruits. James Burgess Jr. had his offer pulled because he was looking around. But in this case, it's simply ridiculous, and nothing more than a USF beat writer trying to make himself feel better that USF has no shot at the Duke, and never did.

If you knew anything about recruiting you would realize that there are piss poor recruiters who say dumb stuff like this all the time.

And your point is? Anyone who believes this story is out of their friggin mind. Duke has given the Miami more than enough confidence that he would never switch. Hell he has flat out said that the only way he wouldn't attend Miami is if the school completely shut down. And he's been campaigning to teammates and the media about attending Miami for more than a year already.

Let it go already. I don't even know why we're arguing about something so minuscule. The coaching staff never told Duke Johnson he would have his scholarship pulled if he took a visit to USF. That's that.

My point is still that it isn't far fetched for a recruit, no matter how solid their verbal is, could be told that.

I'm not sure if there are bball fans here, but the Pack and the Canes this Sunday should be an interesting matchup. I'm still not sure what my Pack brings, and to be honest, I'm not sure what you'll get from the Canes. When both teams "bring it", they can be fun to watch.

A lot of jumpshots is what you can expect from the Canes. They can go into the post with Kadji and Reggie Johnson, but they settle for a lot of jumpers. And as they say, live or die by the three. If they're hitting, they're capable of beating anybody. If not, good chance they get run out off the court playing a good team.

I don't want to get my hopes up, but this Tracy Howard thing is getting really, really, really interesting. Duke, Deon, and Lewis are working overtime on him. his dad loves Miami, and Miramar's OC is working on Howard and thinks he has a great chance at going to Miami to play with his best friends, especially his teammate Malcolm Lewis who's like a brother to Howard, Herb Waters thinks Howard will be a Cane, Duke willing to give up his #3 to Tracy... Way too much smoke here. But again, not getting my hopes up because all along it's been "No chance Howard goes to Miami."

It's even more a shame that Leggett couldn't enroll this year. Bush, Legget, and Howard in one class would have been unreal.

Yep. It is what it is though. AJ Leggett will be a stud at Marshall. Still holding out hope that he doesn't get past the NCAA clearinghouse and says **** it and goes prep, and then enrolls at Miami next year. Though I won't complain if he decides to transfer from Marshall because he's way too good a player for a school like that.

This Kenny Kadji kid on the Canes Basketball team can really ball. 7 footer that can score down low, dribble the ball, and a terrific 3 point shooter as well. Only a Sophomore as well. Averaging 19 ppg this month, and looks to really have the green light from Larranaga to keep shooting, even with Reggie back.

Schiano taking the Tampa Bay job helps our chances of getting Darius Hamilton, who's visiting this week, greatly. Also, his teammate and current Rutgers commit, 4 star WR Leonte Carroo, is visiting Miami this week with Hamilton.

Antonio Crawford commits. This class is friggin awesome and it's not even finished yet. I think we'll get Howard, Darius Hamilton, and Avery Young, with an outside shot at Josh Harvey Clemons.

I'm not seeing Howard. I want to believe all the talk lately is real, but his, and his mother's heart are in UF imo. Darius Hamilton is very possible. If Rutgers hires a coach before he announces Tuesday though, it probably won't happen. Unless they hire some derp like Randy Shannon. Avery Young is possible. I still think he's leaning UGA, but we're in it for him no doubt. We have a better shot at Josh than you might think. He's loving his visit, and is great friends with Raphael Kirby, who's already enrolled and was in his ear all weekend.

This is by far completely unrealistic post. I hope you don't count on any of this happening.

Tracy Howard - Florida Gators (if not LSU)

Darius Hamilton - Rutgers (if not Gators) he is down to those two teams.

Josh Harvey Clemons - Georgia Bulldogs almost 100 percent sure. (if he doesn't go there it will be either Florida or FSU)

Avery Young - Georgia Bulldogs (if not Auburn or Florida). Avery is a tough one to figure out. He wants to play early (at LT) and be close to his Grandfather. Florida is closest to his Grandfather but does have the best OT recruit in the country in this class. Georgia and Auburn have a good mix of both. Miami is just too far for his Grandfather to drive which is why I think they have very little chance.

Uh, LSU isn't even in his top 3...

And Hamilton has Miami in his top 3 as well, and may leave due to Schiano bolting.

    Don't underestimate Al Golden recruiting.

Tracy Howard will be a Gator. I didnt realize that LSU fell out the the running so quick.

They have no chance with Hamilton.

Golden is the 3rd best recruiter in the State.

Let the Tracy Howard watch begin. JoeRose kind of intimated this morning that he spoke to someone close to Howard and he thinks he might be leaning towards the U. Rose said he didn't want to jinx it so he topped talking after that.

Take it for what it's worth.

From what I am hearing is that Tracy Howard will commit to the Hurricanes. Playing time is the biggest factor. I heard he is still really torn tho. Congrats to the Canes tho if they get him.

Being reported Avery Young to the Gators which is a shock to me but it's really close to his Grandfather.
