Don't be surprised if Capers becomes a candidate. The Packers might let him go after a bad season but... Capers is a very good defensive coordinator. An innovator at defense. I would welcome him back to Miami.
I think they'll give him some slack. They lost Cullen Jenkins, Nick Barnett, and Al Harris. Nick Collins went on IR in September. Also, Sam Shields and Tramon Williams both under-performed. I don't think they'll blame that on Capers. If they do, holy hell that'd be great for us.
That's from Lacanfora which means he's not even being considered. Dude seems like he is just guessing half of the time. Wasn't Capers Cam Cameron's DC here?

Packers quarterback coach Tom Clements, who would be an attractive choice, is expected to be promoted to Philbin’s old job in Green Bay. For defensive coordinator, one possibility is Packers defensive line coach Mike Trgovac, who coached generally solid units during his six years as Carolina’s coordinator. Former Dolphins interim coach Todd Bowles, who has a year left on his contract as defensive backs coach, also cannot be ruled out. If he doesn't get a HC gig, I'm going with Todd Bowles. His pedigree is as good as anyone. Wade Phillips, Mike Nolan and a SB champ as a player to boot.
