4-0 against UM & UF. Sure he has mistakes in his first two seasons as the coach, but let's not act like he's Randy Shannon here.
He's no Randy Shannon. Nobody, no matter how much I dislike Fisher as a coach, can be Randy Shannon bad. The guy called a kid into his office because he thought he was starting some message board conspiracy trying to get playing time. But he's certainly in Dabo Swinney territory. Jimbo's a pretty bad game day coach. If I was FSU, I'd get it over with and just fire him and let Stoops coach. He's the reason for the small success they've had. Jimbo is supposed to be some offensive genius and he even sucks at that. I like Stoops. He's done a very good job with the defense. He also did a very good job at Miami.
DT Dequan Ivery decommits from Louisville and will sign with Miami. Hopefully we get Jawand Blue as well. He announces at 12:30 I believe.
I like Blue. Would love to steal him from Tech. Not so high on Ivery to be honest. I imagine he's more of a depth signing since we really need some big bodies up front. Maybe they see him as a NT for 3-4 sets.

Now that the 2012 recruiting season is over, going to be interesting to see who gets the banhammer come spring. We're well over the maximum 85 scholarships. I think we have a pretty good idea who most of them will be though.
Would have been nice to get more depth. Gotta be excited about Ereck Flowers though. Also O-line looks to be very good next year. Now for the 2013 class I expect to see QB and O-line being a priority.
We'll be putting the full court press on Kevin Olsen. As for the OL. Denver Kirkland, Marcell Lazard, Patrick Kugler are 3 guys we're looking good for as of right now.

Anyways, I think the only guy who will come in and start right away is Howard. I'm not saying guys like Bush, McCord, etc won't start next season, they'll just need to get some burn before doing so.
He's a great speaker. I wonder if most of the stuff he says is planned beforehand or not. He has a direct answer to everything.
I don't know but it amazes me. Doug Collins is the same way. Some people are just great speakers. Sure beats Randy "Flying around and doing great things" Shannon.

I do think you can learn a lot about a coach through press conferences though. It's no coincidence that Randy Shannon was such an awful coach with his comedy hour press conferences. Eddie Jordan, one of the worst coaches I've ever seen, terrible speaker. Tony Sparano? You can tell from his PC's he didn't have a clue. Hell he even admitted it himself!
I lost hard when I seen Shannon talking about CB's. The part about Tracy Howard being a big CB really had me dying though. Tracy Howard would never had even gotten a call from Shammin. Gotta be 6'0" minimum to play CB...
Leggett from Coral Reef? He is said to be very lazy. I know the coach gets on his *** all the time about it. My girls kid is DE there....
Who will he pick? hmm... And I have no idea if Leggett is lazy on the field. I just know he moved around a ton and was probably not a great student, which didn't bode well with him getting in.
Leggett has lots of potential but its a fact that he was lazy in practice all the time. Coach got down his throat right in front of me twice but he did it to light a fire under his ***. Golden won't take that from him though. The way UM coaches actually TEACH these kids their positions, Leggett could be very good. He damn sure has the potential. If they can get his hips from dropping so low when he turns out of a back pedal....
I remember him visiting Miami (the school) the weekend they played GT. I believe it was an unofficial visit. But the players that visited with him were all saying how he was ready to play NOW if he could. He could be great, hopefully he takes the right route and goes prep, instead of the easy way out (Marshall).
