I find it hard to believe that nobody knows if we're picking 8th or 9th. Can't someone in this forum figure out the tiebreakers for our scenario?
Yea, the tiebreaker is a coinflip. The reason not a single person knows where we're picking is because the coinflip has yet to occur.
We are the 8th pick; I think its rather obvious. Everything will start going right for us with that coin flip.
Wow. I never new that. Thanks everyone for letting me know about the coin flip. Who decides if we're heads or tails? That's kind of stupid. They should look at head to head, common opponents, points for, points against, ect
Does it matter? What I mean is, if we get 9th then the Panthers get 8th. So are they going to pick someone who we wanted? I think maybe not, so maybe it doesn't matter...
maybe someone would want to trade up to our spot to get the same player the panthers want. There's too many things like that to think about. Whatever happens happens. I won't lose any sleep over it but I can't believe its decided by a coin flip. They should change that and apply the sane tie breaker for getting into the playoffs.
The answer is yes....but no....as many have said, we are tied with Panthers. There will be a coin flip at the combine to determine who gets the earlier pick. We will alternate in each successive round from there...
