I'm not cap expert but I'd say def considering Manning is cool with an incentive-based contract.

Flynn isnt going to sign for a team that just signed or plans to sign Peyton Manning.

^This. Another team will give him a chance to start if we land Manning.

This is what has me torn. A healthy Manning could give us 2 to 3 years of solid (if not better) QB play. Flynn, if he continues how he's played in limited action, could give us a decade or so. I would rather take a chance at Flynn than invest a few years in Manning who could go down at any moment. It just makes more sense. Flynn will be familiar and comfortable in the offense - whereas Manning will be in a new one - along with carrying age and a very bad injury. Flynn could POTENTIALLY give us solid, if not better, QB play for a long time. As much as I respect what Manning has done in his career, we can't afford to throw away an opportunity to get a potential franchise guy for a guy who will be here 2 - 3 years - max. I just don't see where it makes sense. I like what Manning has done. But he is now aging and is fighting through a significant injury. Sign Flynn. Keep Moore and draft a QB this, or next, year and keep a crop of QBs on our roster who can step in, compete, and give our team what it needs the most: solid, consistent QB play.

    By the way... GO GIANTS!

    Here and there
So you wanna sign Manning and then draft a 28 year old rookie that wont see the field until hes 31(maybe)? No thanks. If you're going to have a rookie sit beihnd a vet then draft a guy that you have to develope anyways and not be in his 30s when or if he sees the field.

Hah, why would Flynn leave one elite quarterback to go sit under another?

Draft Russell Wilson in the later rounds and run pistol with him like we did with Pat White. Cut down on amount of snaps Peyton Manning takes and develops another qb in the process. I don't care if he is short, he's good.

Why would we bring in Manning and then bring in Flynn? Why would we bring in Manning and draft Weeden a 28 year old rookie? Why would we bring in Manning/Flynn and then spend our 1st round pick on Ryan Tannehill?
