That kind of truth gets you called a hater.

The answer is also more than he did for the Knicks.

No, they're not. They're the new Dallas Cowboys—an overhyped collection of individuals that do not play well together, if at all.

The Knicks are currently the 7 Seed with two max players and The Great Sportscenter Hype. Yeah, you should probably keep quiet about expectations of playoff greatness.

"May be"? That's exactly the overconfidence I'm talking about. The Knicks will be lucky to make the playoffs. Talking about making the ECF is about six bridges too far. The sad thing here is that Knicks fans probably think they're being reasonable and restrained by talking about making the ECF and not the Finals.

How you took my post as overconfidence is absolutely beyond me. Taking the word "maybe" and running with it I guess. Talk about taking a simple figure of speech WAY too literal.

Calling the Knicks a Good team since Lin stepped on the court is NOT a crazy notion. I'll repeat: 3-1 against greater than .550 teams and 10-3 overall.

To make it simple: Knicks with Lin = above average NBA team. Knicks without Lin = below average NBA team. Is that really too hard to admit? Especially after we're all licking the Heat's balls in awe and humility?

He was talking about the Rookie/Soph game.

Cole scored 18 and shot 7-15. Lin scored 2 and went something like 1-5

If you remember...I guaranteed last year that JJ would win the 3 pt. contest....

I am telling you that he will REPEAT. He will face Durant in the Final though...so a ALL HEAT final is not gonna happen, IMO.

Jeremy Evans in the Dunk Contest, Team New York, and Westbrook my other picks.

I had James Jones with a "legit shot to win it" last year:

    http://www.heatfreak.com/forums/sho...-Star-shootout-invite&highlight=point+contest

I went with Chalmers due to his ~46% from three this year, and the fact that there have been few repeat 3 point champions (Bird, Hodges maybe?). Team Texas encompasses three teams, and Kenny Smith usually does well when he's there. Not to sound like Mayweather, but I went with Buddinger because of fans voting for the white guy.

Edit: Nevermind. I guess there have been a few repeat champions that I have forgotten. I still like Chalmer's shooting this year, his shorter arms and quicker release when dealing with the ball rack, and of course, his confidence.

NBA needs to start giving guys like Andre Iguodala, Josh Smith, etc. invites to the dunk contest. As expected, the weakest dunk contest I've ever seen.

Exactly my point. When they participated the dunk contest was still a very entertaining event. It's sucked complete balls since Nate Robinson/Dwight Howard took it over. More props and watered down dunks. Last years was good except for Blake's incredibly weak dunk at the end. This is what a dunk over a car is supposed to look like.

Go back to the old format, bring the judges back and give me Iguodala, Josh Smith, J.R. Smith, Demar Derozan, Javale McGee, and either John Wall or Blake Griffin.

Anyone get the point of the Karl Malone jersey as a prop last night? Just seemed like a waste of time.

For next year, I fully expect a player to use a 3-minute intro video before performing some whack dunk.

Not really. I've seen tons of videos of these guys from Team Flight Brothers and other streetball groups doing ridiculous **** that's never been done. That through the legs over the car is one of them. I've seen James White do windills and through the leg dunks from the free throw line. I'm quite sure those have never been done in an NBA dunk contest either. 720 dunks? Never in an NBA dunk contest.

Lebron made a couple of dunks during this game that blow the dunk contest ones away.

This only brings out all the Bron haters even more and I love it.....it is like the only thing they can pick on in an otherwise "one for the record book" type years from LBJ....it gives the "anti-Miami championship" crowd a glimmer of hope, in an otherwise disappointing season for them...

I will say Bron should have shot it...he busts Kobe all day everyday anyway...

Here is the thing he cant win either way....if he passes it and X player misses it, wins it or the pass did what it did last night, haters come out on the 4th qtr stick again....

He shoots it and misses it, same as above....

He shoots it and wins the game, walks off like THE badass mofo he is with a villain-esque face such as below...

THEN THE SAME PEOPLE SAY "IT IS JUST AN ALL-STAR GAME, IT DIDNT COUNT"..........hahahahahahahha.....

Again he just has to embrace the fact people hate him, get over it, stop trying to get the haters to like him, play ball, dominate, and show the Vader-face....

    It warms my heart...

LeBron made a mistake on that final possesion, and that was for trying to force the ball to Wade, instead of open Melo.
