I see you skipped the second and final rounds of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Kobe was horrible in the Finals, too. Why does that not matter?

You specifically said he hasn't hit any big shots. Stringer Bell proved you wrong. Just say you were wrong. He hit big shots against Boston last year in the Playoffs. He hit big shots against Chicago in the ECF last year. He made the game winning jump shot against the Magic in the ECF about three seasons ago. You're completely wrong here. Just admit it.

Also, I laughed when you included the All Star game in this discussion but not the Eastern Conference Finals.

Yes, the Mavs shut LeBron down. I don't think anyone denies that. They also shut down Kobe in the playoffs last year. They were a great team that deserved to win a title. Their team defense was as good as you'll see. I don't think anyone is debating that.

Ok, so it went from not hitting clutch shots in playoff games, to not hitting clutch shots in the Finals. Fair enough. As long as we are in agreement that he hit many clutch shots in last year's playoffs prior to the finals.

And I think one of the issues here is why are we talking about LeBron being clutch up until the Finals, then failing in the Finals, when its much more discouraging for a player like Derrick Rose to not even make it into that position.

My ultimate point here is that you're criticism of LeBron failing in the finals inherently involves him succeeding up until then. You can't say Derrick Rose or Kobe Bryant failed in the Finals, because they failed to even make it there.

    In last years playoffs alone:

Hit a three to tie it in regulation vs. Boston in Game 4. Then scored 8 points in OT to win it.

Scored the last 10 points vs. Boston to close them out in game 5. When he hit his first shot, the Heat were down 3.

In Game 2 vs. Chicago, he hit the go ahead, and the dagger in that game as well as made the steal that opened up the lead.

In Games 3 and 4, He held Derrick Rose to a ALL-time low for FG% over a series in a 4th quarter. He also hit a dagger in game 4.

In Game 5, He hit the tying Three, as well as others to bring the Heat back from a 13 point deficit. He then hit the game winner with the game tied.

ARod used to be killed for not winning a ring........until he won one. He lives in SFL and knows LEBron catches the same flack. He is a fellow elite athlete and wants him to win and end the criticism.

Strong rumors of Beasley headed to Boston for Jermaine O'neal. Hell of a trade for Boston if true. Apparently the Lakers rejected an offer of Beasley for one of their first rounders, citing luxury tax concerns. I don't know if I buy that completely.

Something tells me they are holding on to the few trade assets they have for something else after March 1st.

By the way, March 1st is when players who signed contracts in the offseason can be included in trades for the first time. I assume Josh McRoberts, Jason Kapono, and Troy Murphy are waiting with baited breath. Actually, the only one with any trade value would be McRoberts as a throw in to match salaries.

The Sixers are the Heat's stalking horse.

Last year they used certain lineup combinations that the Heat then mirrored to beat Chicago 4-1.

Right now...the Sixers are doing a helluva job defensively vs. OKC...and they are using interesting combinations....that the Heat can definitely emulate and exceed.

    The Sixers are ****ing good.

Philly can't score down the stretch. They blow the game. They have issues scoring against pressure defense. it's all High P&R shots.

That was embarrassing. What's it take to get someone who can make open shots because we had them all day down the stretch. And then with the Thunder giving us the game, we manage to let Russel Westbrick grab an offensive rebound on a missed FT. Rod Thorn needs to get off his fat ***. Go get Al Jefferson or Millsap, someone, anyone.

Meanwhile, the NY Knicks are becoming a very good basketball team. The 2's are as good as any in the league.

I think it is partially for him to rehab, but yeah, Odom just isn't very good for Dallas. He won't be back next year. Come hell or high water, he will be out of there.

The funny thing is, as a Lakers fan, and looking at what most Lakers fans said regarding the Odom trade, who would have thought that a few months later, the LAKERS got the better end of the deal but getting nothing in return? Mitch Kupchak strikes again.

He led his team on a furious comeback, made clutch shots down the stretch, he had a golden opportunity to shut a lot of people up including myself.....

Why the fk does he pass the ball?

Even I'm at the point where I want to see him do it. I would've given him way more credit if he takes the shot and misses. And passing to an open Haslem is not the right play for a guy who couldn't be stopped at any point in the 4th quarter.

    the latter hasnt being working.......

just pop Bron just pop it....

Wade lost the game at the end. Missed the FT and then fouled Devin Harris. Lebron was clutch. He hit some amazing shots.

Wade blew the game but come Monday LeBron will catch all the flack for passing the ball to Haslem for a wide open shot instead of shooting over a double team. If Bosh is in the game he makes the shot and LeBron is still killed despite the win.
