    Slightly left of center

At this point...I feel like I was spoiled by Jay Fiedler.

    Sigh :(

    :pity:

That's one of the saddest statements I've heard about the PHins organization in a long time.

The said thing is, I kinda feel the same way too haha..I wasn't old enough to appreciate the Marino era so yeah Fiedler has been the best QB I've really watched in a Dolphin uniform, and man did he give me headaches.

#TheyAreAllLying nobody tells te truth, not even AFTER the draft...everyone is waiting to see who prematures all over the first QB signing and it will go from there...i'd be shocked and disappointed if the Dolphins told the truth right now...

I have no idea if Flynn is one of Miami's choices or not. It all depends on Philbin and whether or not he feels Flynn is the QB he wants to risk his job on by convincing Ross to spend the millions it will take to sign him in free agency. For all we know at this time, Philbin might not even be interested in the Dolphins signing Flynn.

I have no idea why Tannehill is even seen as a top QB in this draft. He was a mediocre QB at Texas A&M and why anyone thinks he will be anything more than a mediocre starter or a backup in the NFL is beyond me. In fact his team was so mediocre with him as the starting QB, Sherman was fired as the teams HC after Tannehill's senior season. It would not surprise me in the least if Sherman has no interest in the Dolphins drafting Tannehill.

I would much rather see the Dolphins stay with Matt Moore as the starter in 2012, instead of seeing them waste a draft pick on Tannehill or Weeden. I will leave it up to Philbin in regards to Flynn, because Philbin certainly has a lot more knowledge about Flynn's ability to be a quality starter in the NFL, than any of us on this forum.

I get that you "have no idea" why he is seen as a top QB in this draft. But it should give you some pause that the best QB evaluators have all put him in that category. They clearly are seeing what you can't see. I would hope the Dolphins don't rely on your limited vision.

So if the Dolphins aren't interested and evidently the Browns aren't interested...who is?

I would guess that there's no interest at the current reported price tag. It remains to be seen if the interest will be there if the price drops. I think it may for the Browns, but I doubt it would drop enough for Miami to be interested. I could see Washington being interested regardless.

def not a no brainer for the browns. they sit at 4. who's 3? a team not drafting a qb. so why would u dump all that for basically nothing. browns should offer a swap and a second thisyear and next. basically the rams dont lose enough but swapping 2 for 4 to justify the other 1st rd picks.

If the Redskins don't offer them a ton for #2, I suspect they will be stuck with the pick.

I guess the fact that Tannehill was nothing but a mediocre QB in college means absolutely nothing to you. All you care about is the fact that some so called experts claim he is worthy of being a first round pick. Of course these same so called experts were also high on the following QB's. JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith, Cade McNown, Jim Druckenmiller, Brady Quinn, Tim Couch, Davis Carr, and Joey Harrington.

Everyone of these listed QB's were built up before the draft, by so called experts, as being top rated QB's and all of them were drafted in the first round of their respective drafts. All of these QB's were far better in college than Tannehill and yet every single one of them were a complete bust in the NFL.

I look at the stats Tannehill put up at Texas A&M and they do not impress me in the least. I think if he is drafted in the first round, he will join the list above as first round failures in the NFL. I really could care less what the so called experts have to say about him. I just hope and pray that the Dolphins don't waste a high draft pick on him. He is no better than a fourth or fifth round pick, as far as I am concerned.

I don't see anyone giving the Rams what they are asking for to move up for RGIII. It's also tough to sell teams like the Browns on moving up when they can be fairly certain the Rams are not going to select him and he could fall in their laps by sitting still. I really like RGIII as a player, but if we gave up what they are asking for him I'd be disappointed.

The last three number one draft picks of the Dolphins have been, Pouncey, Odrick, and Davis. If the Rams offered to trade the second pick in the draft to the Dolphins for these three players, the Dolphins should make that trade without thinking about it twice. So if it takes giving up their first round draft picks for the next three years to move up and take RG3. I would have absolutely no problem with the Dolphins not having a first round pick in 2013 and 2014, if that means the Dolphins will have RG3 as their starting QB.

To me, Luck and RG3 are the only QB's in this draft worth selecting. If the Dolphins don't get one of them or Flynn. if that is the QB Philbin wants. The Dolphins will still be looking for their QB of the future when the 2013 draft comes around next year.

I doubt someone values a RB at 4 these days. Might as well get Lamar Miller in the second if they go RB.

I evaluate a QB on his skills, not his stats. The people who look at stats are shocked when a guy like Couch busts, while I was saying he wasn't worth a first round pick. If you look at the evaluators with a history of success in this league they look at the skills as well. They were not the ones looking at the guys you just listed and saying they were good NFL prospects. I never evaluated Leaf, Akili Smith, McNown or Druckenmiller before their respective drafts so I can't say what I would have concluded about their value, but Russell, Brady Quinn, Tim Couch, Davis Carr, and Joey Harrington were all guys I actively and repeatedly spoke out against them being picked where they were being projected on this site, Finheaven or Dolfantalk. Anybody who has followed my posts can verify this. You just produced a list of busts that people using your methodology would select.
