Not arguing with you, but where has it been said the nerve hasn't regenerated and by who? I've seen you and KB talk about this at length, but I don't remember where the info came form that the nerve isn't regenerating.

I think he stays in the AFC personally. I also think he would love to beat Brady/Belichick twice a year.

Everyone is going to be pissed at Ross and Irish when this falls through. Just trying to soften the blow.
    You've all been warned.

Is Peyton required to sign with the team that offers the most guaranteed money? Or can he select the offer and team he actually may prefer?

Peyton can do 10 more commercials if he wants several more millions of dollars.

If I was Peyton, looking for 2-3 years of possible SB glory before retirement, I would be looking for the easiest divisions. I would be happy to beat Brady in the playoffs rather than trying to beat him possibly 3 times a year.

The Dolphins organization or more money? He goes with the money. No loyalty to anyone.

The Dolphins averaged like 55,000 fans last year. They'd fill all 75,000 with Manning, it would virtually pay for itself in tickets and not being embarrassed. I think Ross will open up the checkbook, but I still wonder if they might screw it up.

Miami does have advantages being in the weaker and Eli-less AFC. Plus warm weather...Manning wont be afraid of Brady and if he is in the same division, if he can lead them to a division title it means home playoff games in warm weather and not new england. Ultimately money and a feel for the organization/management/coaches will be the deciding factor though. That last part is what worries me, not the money.

Peyton can play for the league minimum if he wants.

Thanks. It's always great to hear from the negative element when there is something to be excited about. If it goes the way you say you can have first dibs on saying "told you so"

MF had a great point on nfl network just now, he said Peyton won't go to NFC because rather then unseat his brother to go to the Super Bowl, he'd love to unseat him for the trophy..... Welcome to the fins peyton

We'll have to watch the 79st Causeway because there'll be folks jumping off the bridge all day long...hehehe

I mean, it'll be 3 strikes against Ross/Ireland (Harbaugh, Fisher, Manning)....And don't kid yourselves..Ross wants this signing bad...I mean he may one of those guys on the Causeway...

Seriously, they have a history of not accomplishing the big splash. I just hope it's a fast move and the negative vibes are somewhat deflected away from this franchise. We've had enough of those in the last 10 yrs...

Plus we are clearly better than the Cards, Seahawks, and Redskins in terms of competing for the Super Bowl. Our Draft picks also put us in a great position to get better in a hurry. I don't see the Broncos as a team that will make the same push as the teams mentioned because Tebow mania is at such a high it wouldnt make much marketing sense.

Heard that too, and quite honestly a point I hadn't even considered before...Even the league would love to have a Peyton vs Eli super bowl....

I do not agree about the Seahawks.

I wonder with a healthy Manning could Fitz get 3,000 recieving yards in a season.

    Houston - best situation imo.

Good line, top notch running game, a top 3 wideout (bring along Wayne or Garcon as a perfect compliment), good TE, a top defense on the other side.

They can release Shaub and give TJ Yates another 2 or so years to develop.

Plus thats probably the weakest division in the NFL with the Titans, Jags and Colts.

12 teams one of them apparently us, so 11 teams, we cant even beat out one team for a coach/player, so i wouldnt get my hopes to high, hope he really decides before FA begins, so we wont lose out on any plan b they have in mind

Why is it apparent? I'd guess it's media speculation about who is going to pony up what.

    Winning over most money .

You think if Cleveland offered him the most money he absolutely would sign there?

He's going to going to get paid , he wants to WIN.

BTW, Big O hasn't completely guaranteed it. He said there is a chance Ross/Ireland can screw it up, but if they went hard after him he has no doubts Peyton would pick Miami. They will need to offer the most guaranteed money most likely. And they must....they can't miss on this. If they do, we could see less than 50,000 people in the stands. They have to do whatever it takes.

Think of how much money they would make with Manning...75,000 filled seats, plus more $$$ from parking and apparel and concessions and advertising.
