How could I guy who has never stepped foot in MSG answer that? Ive been to NY once in my life and it was Yankee stadium to see them beat up my OTHER hopeless team the Seattle Mariners. Ive seen the Knicks in Indiana once and the other time in Cleveland. Your appointing the wrong dude Im thinking.

One day you'll realize that defense is a talent. Maybe. The Knicks aren't the 2nd most talented team in the East. That's ****ing ridiculous.

Tell me, what other "star" has a coach that coaches the exact opposite way from the way the star player is known to play? Because thats what Carmelo is dealing with. D'Antoni is an uptempo coach with a PG who looks tentative in a halfcourt set and cant go left and Melo is a halfcourt player. Lin and Davis are both up and down PG's who are inconsistent shooters. You watch the game vs Boston? They played a halfcourt game and Melo nearly won it. It was a halfcourt game and you got "good melo". You watch the SA game? It was up and down and Melo was awful when the game was close, most his points were empty. The biggest problem in this team is coaching.

The next biggest problem is personnel. Its all duplicate players. Chandler and STAT are both PnR players and neither can extend a defense. Spacing in and around the paint has been awful. Fields and Smith are duplicate players as well to some degree as both are being asked to be shooters and neither can shoot consistently. Fields to be honest is just awful as a spot up shooter while Smith runs hot and cold. Davis and Lin are duplicate players as neither has seemed comfortable in a halfcourt set. The personnel needs to be swapped out. Its abundantly clear to me that what the NYK did was throw together the best available players and treat it like a fantasy basketball squad and hope it works.

Im on record as not being a believer. I want to be but he cant defend worth a darn and he cant go left. In addition to struggling in the halfcourt.

Miami has better attendance because they have the most polarizing player in the NBA and maybe the best player in the NBA in Wade. Miami has better ratings because they have the most polarizing player in the NBA and because of the "love them or hate them" factor. Obviously theyre a very good team as well.

I dont know that they have better basketball fans, I do think they have a better product though so their tickets are in more demand.

Thats like foreplay to him :pointlol:

Before Lin came along the offense WAS isolating Melo and letting him play one on two basketball with 4 other guys basically standing around watching.

I do agree the personnel does not compliment each other well. And the coach is a total jackass. And JR Smith has been much better than Fields the past 3 weeks.

And the Sixers are well coached and deep more than they are talented.

But here is the point..it was like this during the SHAQ days as well.

My favorite trick/troll question is to ask who has had the best attendance between the Heat, Celtics and Knicks in the last 15 years.

Lazenby has been losing his grip on reality recently, but I saw this too. Nothing as to who he would be traded to, but if true, my best guess is Houston or Minnesota.

The line for tonight's game between the Lakers and the T-Wolves just moved from Lakers -1 to Wolves -1. Hmmmmm, sounds like something certainly went down.

My guess is its Houston if true. Other reporters are reporting that nothing is close to done. Lazenby is either going to get full credit for breaking this, or destroy the last shred of his credibility that he is holding on to.

  14. Samphin

Beasley could be had for a first rounder a week ago, I doubt they coughed up Gasol for Beasley.

I think they are trying to get a PG. Kyle Lowry has been on their radar for awhile, but the Rockets haven't wanted to part with him. If they changed their minds, L.A. would trade Gasol for Lowry and other parts (Scola, Martin, etc.) in a heartbeat.

If they are trading with Minnesota,Beasley would be involved, but I have to believe Derrick Williams would too, and possibly a third team to help shore up their PG situation (Sessions from Cleveland?)

Lazenby was close with Phil Jackson and probably got most of his info from him in years past. Woj is close to the team too, but different connections.

Like I said, Lazenby has but off his rocker recently, so who knows. The line changing so drastically on tonight's game makes me think that something is up.

ESPN Radio in L.A. is picking it up now. Taking Lazenby's tweet as not literal (meaning that they think Lazenby is talking in a overall concept, as opposed to right here and now).

Minnesota just recalled someone from the d-league too. Probably unrelated but interesting, nonetheless.

edit: And now Bucher's stupid *** is chiming in about how it might be to Golden State. I doubt it. I am now thinking that Lazenby is just continuing his decent into madness with this tweet until further notice.

  18. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

The line has now moved to Wolves -1.5. Maybe there is something to Bucher's Warriors comment?

Lazenby wrote a book with Jerry West, he may have heard this trickle from him.

Bucher's package, for the record, was Gasol, Artest and draft picks for Curry, Biedrins, Lee and Wright.

High risk, high reward for L.A. if that ended up being true.

Really? That would be highway robbery for the Lakers if that's true. Reminiscent of the Przybilla for Wallace trade last year- in no way does GS upgrade with that deal (not looking at contracts). Maybe GS should throw in Ellis as well for Walton.

Rumor out there that Pau Gasol to Philly for Evan Turner and Elton Brand is a done deal.

I like the deal for LA, indifferent for Philly.

Sixers might be leading the Division now,but I still consider them a dark horse for the Playoffs..
No one gives them a chance, not too many talk about them, they're young, etc.
Collins will have them playing better, more consistence ball when the Playoffs come I have a feeling.
Looking forward to see how they do.

And you wonder why nobody likes Laker fans. Yes, a 31 year old C/PF is going to land you Beasley and Derrick Williams or Lowry, Scola, and Martin...

And Curry for Gasol? Good lord man.

Nonsense. Turner is starting the rest of the way at PG where he should of been to begin with, and as expected is balling. No way they trade him for Pau Gasol. Then again Collins does have a thing for soft bigs that can pass...

Speaking of Turner, is it safe to say he's the best rebounding guard in the league? Maybe Kyle Lowry? Leads all guards in rebounds with only 24 minutes a game. Has had 12, 9, and 12 in his first 3 starts of the season. Huge for us since we've been a mediocre rebounding team.

Meh we won't get past the Heat. Now that Turner is starting at PG, and will remain the starter the rest of the way, if he continues to play the way he has been, we could make the ECF so long as we don't meet the Heat before then.

Beasley was offered to the Lakers for a draft pick. Offering up Gasol to play with his countryman in Rubio (before the injury) as well as a draft pick most likely nets you both. It just does.

And as for the Rockets deal, it has been widely reported and rumored for that the Rockets are pursuing Gasol. Scola, Martin and Dragic was the package they offered which was rejected on account of L.A. wanting Lowry instead and Houston (so far) not willing to trade him. Not once in there did I say they would get ALL of those players along with Lowry, but parts and pieces so that the salaries would hammer out.

What the **** is your problem with me anyway? Are you still mad that the Lakers crushed your minor league basketball team during their dynasty run? I really don't understand where the hate comes from. It's not like I said Gasol for Howard, or Gasol for Kevin Love or some insane ****. Just reporting what has been widely reported online for weeks/months. Please feel free to go away and enjoy a first/second round exit...again.
