the osu pro day was today and Brandon Weeden , Makell Martin. and Justin Blackmon really put on a show. most teams were there but i haveafeeling the fins proball were not there. but John Elway and Peyton Manning were there Weeden ran a 4.48 or 4.84 icant remember but most teams were impreesed. we were all puzzled as why Tannyhill is getting so much love wehn he sucks at throwing the ball down field. there was a lot of talk about other teams being in Stillwater so amcurious if there is any personel from the dolphins .Miami i they cant get Manning ought to look more at weeden and try like hell to get blackmon they say he is faster but his stock has slipped so I serioulsy would move and draft both those twoguys and then build the oline . this crap the media has about drafting all defense needs to stop it was our offense that stunk last year.

Big deal. He is throwing to the receivers he is used to playing with, so he should look good. In the Senior Bowl game when he was playing against other quality players, he looked awful. He is a 28 year old QB who played in a conference which had no teams with a great defense. He also played with the best WR in college. I don't see him as anymore than a quality backup in the NFL and he will probably be out of the league in in a few years. He is certainly not a QB which an NFL wants to build their team around and that is why he isn't getting a lot of hype prior to the draft.

If the Dolphins take anyone from Oklahoma State, I would much prefer they take Blackmon, not Weeden.

IMHO if...whatever forbid.....we miss on Peyton, Weeds would be a great value and option. To clarify he ran a 4.8ish not that it matters much. Such a quick smooth delivery. If he were 21 he would be competing for a colts contract

I really like Martin and had him as one of the players I'd like to get this offseason. With speculation that we get Reggie Nelson out there though, might not be necessary. I just wish we had gotten Goldson last offseason.

that is bull crap weeden has a good camp until that one senior bowl game and every qb has a bad gam many people arond here will tell you that he is the real deal this age thing is bll crap Kurt Warner didnt get into the nfl until he was darn near 30. if other teams fans thinks he is the real deal and head coaches and gms are saying the same thing then i trust them over the eastern bias . he is no dan Marino and Dolphin fans more then any other fan base say that they dont like a majority of qbs OUT THERE AND JUST BECAUSE HE IS OLDDER DOESNT MEAN A THING the kid is a winner.he will be in the league longer then Tannyhill will be . as far as the big 12 goes the league is better then most conferences the sec suxs on offense and the big 12 suxs ondefense so i will give it up to you. In truth I would take weeden for three years and win something then a guy who is one of the worst qbs in the big 12. but oy are entitled to have your opiniob. Weeden has his limits but so es everyone else.you guys are right about Makell the man is a mini Zach Thomas . and Blackmon and weeden together would be a dream and a great dual like Marino and Oj McDuffie.

Dude, your writing is killing me. I hope you're tipsy when writing this...cause...damn

and P Manning was at the OSU pro-day, because that's what your post read.

Or maybe Weeden looks better because he has already entered his prime and the other guys aren't even close. Marino's best years statisticly were before his 28th birthday.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I am just having a hard time trying to figure out what your opinion is. Just to be clear, I don't want the Dolphins to draft Tannehill or Weeden. I don't see either of them being productive in the NFL.

Falstaff Beer and Bob Wills music. ;) aquafin's favorite song is probably The Texas Playboys singing Faded Love.

Peyton wasn't there, according to ESPN. After the Broncos owner's private Jet dropped off Elway and the GM, it flew to Sou Fla, picked up Peyton, and then stopped and picked up Elway and the GM on the way back to Denver.

Weeden is the best pure passer in this draft. If he were 22-23 yrs old, we'd have 3 Qbs going 1, 2, and 3 overall.
