No. Peyton would never unseat another established elite QB who is right now being squeezed with his contract. In the least the Players Union would directly discourage it. Peyton Manning...the scab.....
Before I say anything about what you said, let me say, this thread is insane. However, the owner, GM, coach and probably doctors etc, are all different from the ones that wouldn't sign off on Brees. Why would he hold these guys responsible for all that?
It's far fetched I admit, but if i would have told you last week that we were going to trade marshall to the bears for 2 3rd round picks, you would have said I was nuts. Anything can happen.
IIRC, he just portrayed us as the fins, didn't individualize or single out the current FO at the time, not that he would, its just my speculation after that in the book, he just has a negative outlook on the franchise

We might not be on the same page about Marshall but we sure are here. This was almost a "should I even justify this idea with a response?" type thread. Then I realized hey it's the offseason and everyone has their right to an idea regardless of how ridiculous it is. It keeps things interesting. To answer the topic. No the Saints are not interested in Manning and Drew Brees will not be a Dolphin. Sadly.
