Good signing for the Jags, they are committed to Gabbert but I suspect Henne will start some games for them.
Jags really love Gabbert, they fired Del Rio for benching him, but a young Qb takes a lot of hits and he is kind of a underdeveloped player.
It is a good signing for the Jags. Also a good place for Henne to go to as he has hope. Gabbert still can fail.
Ohh mann Just thinking about the Dolfans in N Florida and S Georgia who are saddled with Jags games, if they find no alternative to watch the phins, and Henne starts for the Jags... Thinking of Alen atm.
If it were anyone other than mularkey coaching there I'd say Jax has a good shot to get into the playoffs
I hope he doesn't succeed. Not because I don't like him, he's a really tough guy and a really good guy who worked hard here. I just hope he fails because he's competition now and the last thing the fan base needs is a guy to perform when he leaves. The Jags fans like the signing and everyone agrees he's better than Gabbert. If you thought he lacked talent here in Miami, he's going to hate Jax. Other than MJD, they have very little. Mercedes Kewis is about as overrated as it gets too, btw.
IMO Gabbert is going to suck, I created dislike for him when he was all cocky in his pre-draft interviews saying he doesn't know why he isn't getting as much hype as Cam. HAHA he went a long saying he was going to be better than him, whata clown. Did you guys see him in the pocket? I know he's a rookie but he looked like a gazelle about to be mauled by lioness.
I had issues with Henne in Miami, however I cannot hope he fails as his toughness impressed me, I can not be thrilled with a player but if they are tough then it impresses me.
I wish I had as many connections in the Miami organization as I do in the Jags organization. He really struggled last year. However, coaches and players alike all confronted him harshly about his attitude. He got into a few rifts with teammates because of his pompous attitude. There is no doubt in my mind Chad Henne will get some starting time next year.
I thought he was a tough son of a gun too. However, as a player for a team vying for a future playoff spot that we will be, I hope he doesn't succeed as well as our guy does.
IMO the last thing Miami needs is to not properly develop players to where we see them go on and succeed elsewhere.
He wasn't working out in Miami, maybe he'll work out better under the Wrath of Khan. Mark him down on the long list of Dolphins qb's that haven't worked out well. Best of luck to him.
He could very well be traded for Tebow. Jax's owner has gone on record saying how he would have 1000% drafted him if he were owner a couple years ago.
You're just mad because of your username. Yeah... I was really optimistic in 09 and bought a jersey too, sigh.
I don't know about "the guy", I mean yea we had an optimistic look on him since he showed some flashes but to buy a QB jersey IMO he has to be a stud.
i dont know man i just read the other day that it wasnt only del rio who thought he isnt very good Sent from my iPhone 4 using Tapatalk
I echo the same statements most here have already said. I have a lot of respect for Henne and I wish him all the best unless it hurts us. I really liked him and I hope he has success in Jacksonville.
Would not be surprised at all if he has success in JAX. They're making a lot of nice moves and that offense is looking very QB-friendly. I'll be rooting for him.
It really would surprise me. In my opinion he just doesn't have the mental game of a starting NFL quarterback. He can't read a blitz to save his life or make ANY pre-snap adjustments. IDC if he succeeds or not but I just don't see it.
I've now learned it's just a better idea to NOT buy any Dolphins jerseys at all. I have probably 10 jerseys of players who are still playing but no longer on the Dolphins. It's ridiculous, the turnover on this team.
