    Per Jason La Canfora.

Had 12 sacks as a rookie on the Bears Super Bowl team and 11 last year for New England.

6-4, 255. Will be 29 when season starts.

this would be a great sign bug we still need to sign Flynn and I would like to sign winston. Am I the only one worried about the cap?

I think the Dolphins are also worried and cognizant of it. QB is holding the rest of the dominoes up.

Atleast he didn't make them go to New England for a meeting.

This would make the draft easier.

It appears they've moved on from Winston (that's just opinion not fact though) as they don't seem to want to pay a big multi year deal for a tackle, with Jake Long's mega deal to do on the horizon. Guessing they offered Winston a shorter deal like the one they gave Solai, but Winston quite rightly should be able to get 5-7 years for 30-40 million, so we may well be out of it.

Anderson though is terrific news if we get him, he'd be a perfect fit opposite Wake in nickel etc., and could spell Wake in our base D if it's the 4-3 under slash 3-4 hybrid people expect. CK will be pleased.

Oh and remember we can probably make some extra cap room if needed to fit in Flynn and the rookies. From here if we added Anderson and Flynn, we'll be in a terrific position to add some skill position players early in the draft (which should help appease the masses).

yep. Although I wouldn't be opposed to drafting the best available right tackle but wr is a sexier pick.

I think our next move should be making more cap room right now. Who should we cut and who would restructure? Bell?

I think they want to keep Bell, and it's possible to open room by adding a year to his deal, paying him a bonus and then cutting his base salary this year to the minimum. McDaniel might be a candidate to move on. I don't think we need a lot of room, just an extra 3-4 million possibly to cover the rookies.

Chance are we don't need to create extra room right away either, we can spend to the cap now, see how the draft goes, and then make a move or two once we have an idea where best to make room for the rookies.

I really hope we can add Winston. He would really solidify our OL and give us a great line of scrimmage on Offense. As far as the Draft goes, Could CB Clairborne or WR Blackmon slide to us at 8 overall? I'm actually hoping if we sign Flynn that Tannehill pops up in the top 8. If he does that means 3 QB's going in the top 7 picks, plus Kalil is certainly going top 7. Those other 3 selections could push us a top 5 player at 8 overall. I really do not want to go OL in round 1 unless we trade back and have 2 first rounders. Using one of the two on a first rounder in that situation wouldnt be too bad. I doubt anyone taken in this draft will be better the next few years than Winston.

Seems good on paper, but looking at his stats, did he have a lot of injuries or did he just lose his starting job at random periods of his career?

I'd be surprised if they could get him and Flynn and stay under the cap.

    It'd def be nice though.

I'm just so surprised how much money we spent for such a bad result. I still think we should have tried some restructuring this offseason.
