Still think Wallace is a homerun hitter for a very reasonable price.

I do not agree about the reasonable price. His salary would be very high and he would cost a #1 pick.

Well the last time they needed a #1 WR Ireland drafted Pat Turner and Brian Hartline, that was a weak wr draft class. This year's is a deep wr draft class so I think it can be addressed the same.

Very deep draft for WR. We will be fine.

Disagree. Were fine with Marshall, Hartline and Bess for now. Just add a decent #2 type like Manningham and we are set.

I would think hard about swapping our 8th overall for the Steelers 24th overall and signing Wallace to a contract.

Thats of course if he would sign a contract in Miami.

Maybe we can trade two 3rd rounders for him!

Turner turned out terrible, Hartline turned out to be pretty good. Probably the best 4th round pick that is generally disliked I have ever seen.

Yup they were 1of2 in a weak wr class. I like their chances of getting even better results in a deep wr class.

No. I am just on this Peyton Manning watch and anticipating the news that he will sign here any second. Maybe he will bring Reggie Wayne with him, and we can use the money we will save on Solai to sign Wayne.

Eric Winston, Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne is easily the best offseason in almost 30 years.

If any year we are going to need a WR, its this offseason........I just hope Ireland hits on his picks.

Id love Floyd with 1.8 and Streeter with one of our 3rds

Its already been proposed to trade 1st round picks with Pitt for him. Due to their cap the couldn't match 3 to 4 mill a year. How is that not cheap for him?

From who? He's had no ofers as a RFA. I mean if you give up the pick and Pitt can't match the offer?

Wallace is going to get payed on draft day when some team misses out on the wr they want. This is what see happening anyways I don't think anyone is going to go after him till then.

Wow, Omar...what a revelation...we trade away our best WR, production wise and now we have a need for a WR...geez, I would never have known if he hadn't tweeted that...

Is this a joke? I take it you are playing with us. Everyone knows Marshall was traded and Wayne resigned with the Colts and by the way Manning has already informed the Dolphins he will not play for them.

If this draft is deep at WR, then it was the right time to move Marshall.

Every great offense has great pass catchers. So not only is WR a need, it's a massive need.

Our receiver corp. is now one of the worst in the league hands down.

Yes we may find a gem in the draft but a rook will never be able to fill the role of a receiver like Marshall immediately.
New coach, no true WR talent, QB??? Next year is looking like a long year to me at this point.

Our passing game as of now is a joke.

Not sure why I'm attached to this ridiculous franchise.

WR didn't used to be a need, the stable was fine.
this bad decision was a self-inflicted wound by Miami.
at some point in the conversation, you have to ask the question:

are we suicidal as a franchise or just really, really stupid?:deadhorse:

Reasonable? You have to OUTBID the Steelers for him plus give them the #8 pick. Not going to happen. Also folks the restricted market is OVER before the draft. Meaning you'd have to find a trade partner before the draft...and that generally just does not happen for non top 3 picks.

And just who is going to play WR if Marshall is suspended 6-8 games? Guy was a ticking time bomb..if it wasn't this it'd be something else.

Yeah he will be a beast with an actual QB throwing to him. Garcia is pathetic.
