please no to Tebow, I can see us getting him thinking hes going to sell tickets... Big mistake if we do but what else is new

 

He went to the University of Florida. That is over three hundred miles north of Miami. Who cares if some of the fans in Denver liked him? I am sure these same fans are much happier with Manning becoming their QB next season. Tebow does not improve this team one bit if he comes here. I am not a big fan of Matt Moore but I would take him as a QB over Tebow, any day of the week.

 

Yea but normally the season doesnt start to suck until week 2 or 3 ... This year its coming way early

You think i'm defending Tebow? I think he is garbage. Our owner thinks Tebow will sell tickets. and he will (See Gator day. That was the most packed the stadium had been in a while). you think UF being far matters to those Tebow maniacs?.... you dont know a lot about UF fans. Lol. People are going nuts here in Colorado. I just hope we don't consider going after Tebow, but knowing Jeff Ireland he is now on the phone and genuflecting to Brett Favre and begging him to come play for the Phins.

Not once has his want for PR stretched to personnel decisions. There was that whole Gators celebration thing last season, but I'd like to think he's smart enough to have learnt from the backlash from that.

 

Well at least I can agree with you on these comments. I guess I wouldn't put it past Ross to bring Tebow here in an attempt to increase attendance, but I just don't see Dolphin fans falling for this trick. Gator Day may have worked for one game but it is all about winning in Miami. Over the long run I just don't see Tebow providing this winning or an overall increase in attendance. .

If Philbin is forced by the FO to play Tebow, I wouldn't blame him if he just quit. He has to be wondering already why he ever took this job in the first place. I am sure Fisher is sitting back with all those draft picks he just got from the Redskins and giving thanks for not taking the job with this organization.

Reports are that Elway eventually wants to become the owner of the Dolphins and he would like Manning to become one of his partners in buying the Broncos in the future. Manning and Elway seem to get along very well and the fact is that Colorado is a wonderful place to live.

Also the last I checked, The Broncos made the playoffs last season and they came to Miami and beat the Dolphins. Personally I think the 49er's were the best opportunity for Manning to win a Super Bowl over the next few seasons but, I can certainly understand his wanting to play for the Broncos and to live in Colorado. With him as the starting QB, I can certainly see the Broncos winning the AFC West for the next few years. Once they get into the playoffs, anything is possible.

Its more than money. Broncos have a great defense. Now they need to get a set of WRs

 

Broncos defense was trash. A mile wide and an inch deep.

Totally agree. Denver was a fraud on defense. Go back and look at their schedule. Whenever they played a good/elite offense, they got absolutely smoked. A few of those were at home too.

Their defense is def not great. Their LBs are great (when healthy), but Bailey is almost in the twilight of his career and as you said they need WRs, and a running game.
