Its called knee jerk reaction ... People like to blow up and blame without thinking it thru ... Its the fault of being a passionate fan ... But I agree with u Tone

He had three teams trying to get him to play for them instead of having surgery during the season last year. He signed a non-guaranteed contract here. The idea that no one else would have brought him in on that is silly. Sure he would have competed in St. Louis, it just would have been a much tougher competition. Really, the best thing for him from a financial standpoint would have been to wait for an injury.

You have to have an incredible sense of humor to root for the Jets.

do people actually think this is a good move? hes a stop gap guy until we find a real quarterback. maybe we draft tannehill and moore garrad and tanny compete for the starting job. maybe we pass on a qb all together and draft o line or best pass rushing DE with the 8 pick or maybe we trade down....it's hard to say until after the draft.

either way jeff ireland needs to go unless he hits homeruns on all of these moves/non moves.....

Maybe Vibe is just the name of the club Ross wants to put in the stadium. Must not have been open yet when Flynn visited.

Yes, because we won't settle for anything less than a 100% success rate when it comes to players we get or players we don't get!

Why would Flynn have an ulterior motive? It's not like his previous OC is now the HC for a team that clearly didn't value him as much as he was hoping they would. :shifty:

False. He had suitors. He decided to take a year off to have surgery.

Fact is. We wanted him last year. He was released a week before the season started. You're not going to start a feeding frenzy that close to the season unless your name is Peyton Manning.

We contacted him right after he was cut, and again after Henne got hurt. By the time Jason Campbell got hurt, his doctors told him he can't play and needed surgery.

You know who else didn't play last year. Peyton Manning. Short of Pennington Garrard has played better than anyone on Miami lately.

Well played by Garrard. One of the more intellectual players. Let's see if the media runs with this one.

I think I have it figured. Every move we make is either stupid or ignored. And everything we don't do is exactly what we should've done.

You're wrong. Garrard is only the first of many QB's we will assimilate.

Exactly. He loves the vibe of anyone who will give him a decent contract and a chance to start!

He also loves the vibe of competing with Matt Moore (not that I think Moore is really bad, but I suspect Garrard thinks he has a good shot to start).

I think he will wind up starting, but one come full circle again, what do we have on offense with Marshall gone?

I'm fully on board with this signing, have wanted Garrard in Miami since last yr, however the offense needs weapons or it won't matter who the Qb is, though I'd have loved to have seen Garrard+Marshall.

Think about this, Reggie Bush, Daniel Thomas, Fasano, Hartline, Bess, those are our weapons...uhm...maybe toss Slaton or Messam in the mix, and still...this is not an optimal situation.

Heh, if you understood athletes at all you'd realize how offbase that is bbqpitlover, he was already wealthy, he was told he was not good enough, that burns their *** and motivates them more so then 2 million or whatever they are paying him.

This is why I compare him to Pennington in 08.
