2012 GML Unofficial Draft Thread

Well he's probably been waiting for that for a long time too.

 

With the pick of Zach Brown. Seahawks are looking to trade David Hawthorne or KJ Wright

 

I like the pick by Miami of Osemele. Went probably a lot higher than he will in april but hes a solid prospect with great work ethic. Curious if they play him at guard or right tackle.

 

About damn time, Hightower went. If I ran a 3-4, I would've taken him with my 24th pick.

Should have my pick up within 30 minutes.

 

Hightower was and is my actual first pick in the draft. I pegged him late in the first but saw how the draft was unfolding so felt it was safe to keep dropping back until I got bored of waiting.

I'm happy to get my guy and work the draft the way I did.

 

GB OTC I believe at 47

 

This was really a draft pick of need over value with Brown, Hightower, and Dennard still on the board all tempting me. Osemele does give me the option of playing him at G or RT which I feel is crucial when I see both positions as areas of need. He'll be in the mix at G but I initially plan to play him at RT and have Carey/Hangartner fight for the last G position. At the very least it gives solid depth and helps set up the rest of the draft for me.

I love the Dennard, Hightower, and Brown picks though...great great values.

If Saint Greg hasn't traded his 2nd rd pick already, I think the commish here needs to drop the hammer too.

 

If Saint Greg doesnt make his selections we should probably put out an APB for him and for Goodells safety.

 

well technically if picks are lost because of the supplement draft, and salaries flux because of reworked contracts so I guess we'll have to run with this and take away the Saints second round pick....

 

Wish I could have traded down to get Miller, but didnt want to hassle with trading

 

it takes a lot of patience to keep trading down, but its a good pick regardless.

Well since Tebow is in New York, I should go and talk to VO about him.

 

Wow some really good picks. Dallas getting Miller, Jets getting Smith and Chargers getting Curry.

Gotta be honest if Miller was there at my pick I don't think I could pass him up.

 

if he was there at 48, I would have probably taken him over Harrison Smith and then hoped Harrison fell to my next pick.
