    Praise baby Jebus.

Well, he still might be once a year as a member of the Jets.

Seems they really want him to heal their locker room and Sparano wants him for his Wildcat that he will be running there.

Again....praise baby Jebus on all levels if this happens.

Football wise it makes alot of sense, especially if they want to run a version of the Wildcat with him. It would also keep him out of Miami which would also be a good move.

Socially I could see it become more of a train wreck than perhaps any other destination.

We'll see what happens soon enough. They are definately more likely to give a pick up for him than we are.

Tebow definitely doesn't fit the jets organization, he seems like too much of a good guy to fit in with those scumbags. Well I guess you can say that about Sporano too, just happy it's not here though.

I've always liked Tim Tebow. I think he's a great kid who is something really special. I've said before in my opinion I think he's the greatest college football player ever. Just my opinion. But due to his style of play, I was always skeptical whether or not he'd be able to play football at the NFL level as both games are completely different, "Te-ball" vs the NFL but he did lead the Broncos to the playoffs last year. Albet, with some ugly losses (and wins), but to the playoffs nonetheless.

Now here's what I don't get...and I'm probably rambling more than anything but we have two former offensive coordinators in Miami now, Joe Philbin and Mike Sherman. These two coaches were instrumental in the development and success of Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers and now Matt Flynn. The general consensus has been our coaching staff would be able to develop a young drafted rookie quarterback, which I don't disagree with. I believe our coaching staff's record proves that, but here's what I don't get...

Joe Philbin and Mike Sherman would be able to develop a young rookie quarterback into a successful franchise quarterback, but the idea of Tebow coming to Miami...with this same coaching staff....is somehow a horrible idea. Why??

Tebow's proven he is a leader on the field
Tebow's proven he possesses the will to win
Tebow's proven he'll do all he can to win.

Aren't these traits you actually WANT in a quarterback? Someone with the heart and will to win? All that Tebow is lacking is the crisp passer skills essential to being an effective quarterback in the NFL. Is there anyone here who really believes the mentoring he received in Denver is far superior to the mentoring he could receive in Miami? Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Flynn versus Brady Quinn, Kyle Orton et al in Denver.

Is Denver's quarterback coaching staff THAT superior to what we now possess that Tebow is beyond all hope?

Isn't it POSSIBLE Tebow could be developed into an NFL level quarterback that could bring wins under the tutilege of Philbin and Sherman?

Like I stated, I do have my doubts about Tebow, but with all the intangibles this kid possesses...and with the gold mine in quarterback development we now possess in Philbin and Sherman to just completely dismiss Tebow without looking at the possibilities is quite foolish in my opinion.

All things are possible but for Tim to be a vaible QB in a WC type offense is going to take more than one should want to ask of a first time first year HC in this league. If Tim comes to Florida then Jax is the place he should go imho. He is the very opposite of Blain Gabbart thus could be successful there from the begining. Imo. That won't happen here, here he'll get buried as the #3 QB, cause there is no way he beats out Garrard or Moore for playing time.

I hope Tim has a long and successful QB career in the NFL, we need people like him for positive continued growth, But that only happens if he is on the field playing and it wouldn't happen here for at the very least a year or two if ever. Jm2c

that's a good point. with MJD, Jax does make a lot more sense for Tebow. only problem is that JAX's defense isn't as good as Denvers, so those close games that Tebow is able to pull out at the end may be less common than what he saw last year. Denver's defense did not get nearly enough credit for all those wins last season.

Could you see Tim and Jones-Drew on the field at the same time? Alot more points scored for Jax over last year with much better Red Zone TD production that Henne or Gabbart will produce imho. More energy and time on the field for the offense and that defense just might surprise some folks.

We'll understand alot better what he could have done for us when we have to play him in the Redzone against the Jets. I would have much rather seen Sanchez in the Redzone. Tebow is the best in the NFL in that area of the field.

    I fixed that for you.

Football Jesus meets Field Goal Jesus. JETS ARE GOING TO CHURCH!

Basically, Sparano is Sparano and he can't coach his way out of a paper bag in the redzone. Tebow or no Tebow.

If you focus on race, you are missing the point really. The point is that there were similar questions about those two when they came into the league....and now you hear :domodance:when ability is brought up.
