Wade was flat out invisible in the fourth.

I see this as the Finals, but a different result. Heat in 5.

Well after being the SOLE reason the Heat were even in the game.....he sat the first 4 min of the 4th quarter. Brilliant idea.

Usually if a team doesnt make it to the finals, that means they lose in the earlier rounds of the playoffs, or don't make it at all.

No, thats your expected result which is different then my expected result. Its not a slap that i think the Thunder could and will beat Miami in the Finals. I think the Thunder ARE that good.

Heat won't make it out of the second round if they play the way they did last night.

If Heat fans have a problem with my opinion that I think they are the best team in the east but not the best in the league I cant help them. IMO, there are two teams that are serious matchup problems for Miami. OKC is one for obvious reasons. The other one would probably be a surprise considering where they stand in the west but I think they present a lot of the same problematic elements that Dallas did last year....Memphis.

That is not saying Miami is a bad team. Obviously they are a matchup problem for every one else.

Yes OKC is a great team and I think they can push the Heat to seven, but still lose.
We all saw that the playoffs are a different beast and the Heat will not play like crap against them again.

I don't really see how OKC is a bad matchup. I think the Bulls are a worse matchup than the Thunder.

The Heat are good at containing PG's, and Chicago doesn't have the scoring duo of Durant and Westbrook.

The Heat also have two of the league's best iso-defenders. LeBron being best in the league I believe. Thats really what OKC does best in half-court. OKC also turns the ball over more than anyone in the league, and the Heat are probably the best open-court team in the NBA. If you want to beat Miami in a 7-game series, you have to grind them into a half-court game. I just don't see OKC having the physicality to go through a 7 game series against the Heat. Like most NBA playoff series, its going to come down to who is better at defending in the half-court. JMO.

You could be right, just the timing of this topic may be misleading I suppose...I don't think the Heat get handled as easily as they were yesterday, but I'm not sure they don't lose every game in OKC either.

As I said before, if the Heat play as bad as they did yesterday, they're not making it out of the East, thats is for sure.

The reason Chicago will not be a problem for Miami is because Chicago still has only one player that can create their own shot. So at crunch time you put Lebron on Rose just like last year. With OKC it's not nearly that simple. They have three guys that can create their own shot. So even if you put Lebron on one and Battier on the other that still leaves Harden. And you don't get the height mismatches you would get with Rose vs Lebron.

Harden will be guarded by Wade. Wade is a pretty good defender.

not at all. I just didnt appreciate the snarky attitude.

FWIW, Amare has a bulging disc in his back. No timetable...could be a day, could be a week, could be the season.

He was starting to come around the last 10-11 games shooting 57%. He was starting to play like hes capable since he dropped 15lbs the last month and a half.

Nice win for NY, considering all the players that missed the game AND 23 turnovers, yet they manage a 9 point win against a hot Bucks squad.
