Pierce is a great pick in rd 5. He should go higher IMO.

So do I, he had a good pro day. I think he'll be a good backup.

The guy I planned to take in rd 5 (until I realized the Panthers don't have a 5th) is still out there. I have to hope he slides another 30 picks. :(

I deserve it but man, it hurts. It really hurts. Especially Devon Wylie.

Well if he is rather well known or high on draft ranking you might be SOL.

Meh, it was my last pick.
Sure, I could've tried to move down, but as of Saturday I will be out of town for a week. I don't know how active I'll be when I'm gone.
I figured instead of trading down and getting an extra pick or two and then having to worry about a bullpen or being on in time to make my pick, I'd just pick the guy I wanted and be done with it.
Did I reach? Maybe, probably. But whatever, it is what it is.

Your lucky you picked him. If you didn't, he'd be a Redskin!

Glad I didn't trade down then.
Last night I was ready to trade down into the 5th or 6th and get more picks.
Decided to go to bed instead of staying up and waiting for an offer.

I'll be making my pick after I'm hope at work ... I have to drive home when my call is over but the pick should be in within the next 2 hours or so.

He's not super well known, but not obscure either. I think he should be ranked higher than he is too.

He's a typical Iowa defensive tackle. Undersized but overachieves.

I could see him getting drafted in rounds 3-5 or even going undrafted.

Spence is too light for my tastes, I think he's more of a C-2 type LB

I agree. I like Spence, but he needs to put on some weight imo. Plus, I have like 8,000 OLBs...I need MLBs..

Spence is really a Cover 2 LB. Really good sideline to sideline but his size is a bit concerning.

Great pick, Paul. Had I not been set at WLB, Spencer would have been selected in the 4th round.

Unfortunately Spence is not a versatile linebacker by any means... not to say he isn't good though.
