(1 less point, but worse in every statistical category) They are just repeating their slump from last year post-allstar break. Soon, they will begin to again, bury teams and all this **** will be forgotten. I worry about their "game" not individual losses. They have developed a couple of leaks they can easily plug.

OKC can't beat Miami in a 7 game series.

You want so bad for Miami to lose..you better start rooting for San Antonio to come out of the west.

 

Memphis plays too slow for Miami (they play matchup M2M) and don't shoot the three ball well enough. They wouldn't win a game versus Miami, yet they can push OKC.

I have seen the matchup before. They play better WITHOUT Gay since he slows them into getting him the ball and he likes it in the high post.

Bosh would guard Z-Bo and the Heat team defense would guard the paint. Teams that clog the paint by trying to get their big men involved are an easy mark for the Heat.

You want to shoot threes vs. the Heat and again, Memphis is terrible at it.

 

What you need to beat Miami:

A) great P&R defense.
B) great 3 pt. shooting and be able to shoot it in volume.
C) A shot blocking deterrent.
D) Great point guard play.
E) good execution in the Half court.
F) limit turnovers.

teams that qualify in order of completeness:

San Antonio
Denver Nuggets
Oklahoma City

 

G. Put them in a hostile environment in the finals and Atlleast be tied going into the 4th quarter.

 

What about zone defense?

 

Hasn;t worked against them in weeks. Teams don;t even try it anymore.
