I am Glad Lesnar is back! Even if its for the year, its nice to see him back for one more time, but the best part of Raw for me was not Lesnar coming back, but it was when the Rock said he would be WWE Champion again.

Also its funny how unimportant any title is in the WWE right now. No one cares about the World Heavy Weight Champion or WWE Champion, its all about The Rock, Brock and Cena right now

I loved when they started chanting CI Ci Ci when Del Rio came out. And have to give credit where it is due, Sam called the Brock and Cena angle.

Well people tend not to care about titles when on the biggest night of the year one of those matches goes 18 seconds, but really the titles have been meaningless for a long time now. They've been basically props since 2006ish.

Terms of Lesnar's deal: He's signed for 1 year through WM29. He has to make a minimum of two appearances a month, including extra appearances during the build to WM20. Lesnar will most likely work 30 to 35 dates over the next year.

He also showed up 30 seconds before he came out on RAW to keep things as secret as possible, that's why it felt like Cena's promo was really drawn out and he was stalling a bit.

Well cancel the summer without Randy Orton, he's been fired from The Marine 3 because he was dishonorably discharged from the USMC in 1999. Can't wait to see Orton RKOing Daniel Bryan each week on Smackdown in June and July now!

I think del rio got a pretty good "welcome back *******" reaction from the crowd. I for one like him as the bad guy, so it's good to see him back.
The ending was great. Say what you want but wwe pushing the cena as a good guy angle really makes his character even better. That's right better. Why you ask? Well because people hate him for that reason, so they push it more they get even more of a divisive reaction from the crowd. So what you have is a mixed reaction of people who both hate and love cena. It's smart.
Also say what you want about cena but he's willing to be the second or in this raws case third big dog for these other wrestlers. Hard to say the man doesn't bleed wwe.
It's also funny how quickly you guys turned on punk for the rock. You're such rock whores lol

Well it was nice seeing lesner last night, But vince will be telling him to hit the gym his arms were a little flabby last night, by time wm29 comes he will be jacked again just like rock was all jacked for wm28. My wife says look how big the rock arms are then says he must be juicing, I just laugh she knows nothing about working out. But the crowd last night made raw seem special, If they could get a live crowd like that every week raw could get good again real quick along with some good writing.

That's why Cena will never "turn heel", he's already a heel in the minds of half the crowd anyway. And the other half loves the guy and continues to buy his merchandise etc. And yes say what you want about him as a wrestler but he's willing to do anything for the company and you never hear about him having any heat with anyone or complaining about anything.

And I don't think anyone turned on Punk (I know I didn't), I still like him and cheer for him and want him to do well but he's completely off base and flat out wrong with his comments on The Rock. It makes him look bad.

It's important state once again what a great crowd that was last night. One of the best crowds ever hands down. They were hot from the opening to after the cameras rolled. Well done Miami. I just hope that the chants and example they set will carry on to the next RAW city, it's a lot more fun when the crowds are super hot like that as they can turn an average show (which let's face it last night's show was just average outside of a decent Punk/Henry match and a great ending) into a great one.

From a business standpoint sure. From a personal, no.
I equate it to what my work does. Someone at my work will leave for about 6 months. When/if they come back, they can then get paid more. Which means what a guy like me whose dedicated is still getting paid less by my company, while someone who leaves and comes back, gets more. Yes, the rock is the rock. I think when all is said and done, cm punk will be seen as close to the abilities of the rock. So no, I don't think he's out of line nor off for what he said. People like loyalty, and it should count for something.

But what if, again using your example, that worker in your company who is one of the absolute best in the world at what he does (sorry to steal Jericho and Punk's catchphrase) come back to work helps put extra money in your pocket? Would you really complain then? I mean sure it's probably annoying that you have been at that job 365 days a year busting yourself at it but would you complain if you're getting more money from it?

You see The Rock, just by showing up and working that WM match is putting so much more money into the pockets of the other wrestlers. The Rock is helping the company and the business by showing up, he's creating more interest in the product that their otherwise wouldn't be. I think CM Punk is being a bit of a hypocrite because again while he's targeting The Rock, why doesn't he go after The Undertaker, who has wrestled the same number of matches as The Rock from WM27 to WM28, yet showed up much less. Why isn't CM Punk complaining about that? Or about Jericho who leaves every couple of years to play in a band? It all comes down to pure jealousy. Everyone in that locker room is completely jealous of The Rock (starting right at the top with Triple H) and how he was able to leave the business and not have to look back. And again I like Punk and all but I think he's way off on his complaints, especially when he's been "the man" in the company since July and outside of the MiTB PPV he's done little himself to get business going.

I care about the WWE Championship. Majorly. I'm really excited to see what hell Punk is going to have to go through with John L to retain his title and prove even further he is among the elite in WWE.

Yeah pretty much. Hopefully it won't get too annoying. The "what" chants got old really quickly and really threw a lot of the talent off when they were doing interviews (obviously the guys with the weaker mike skills it effected more, the stronger ones would play off of it).

The WWE would be insane not to have "YES" t-shirts made and ready to sell by the weekend.

What does CM Punk want from his career that the Rock is getting in the way of? It's not just about pay. The Rock helps sell the brand. The Rock helps get people interested in watching WWE again. Since CM Punk loves the wrestling business so much he shouldn't have a problem with this at all.

Oh it is absolutely about jealousy. Everyone in the back is jealous of The Rock, that's why he has so much heat with the guys in the back. If they weren't why would they complain about him? They're pissed because he's one of the best ever and was able to have a better life for himself outside of wrestling. Everyone in the back would kill to have The Rock's career both in terms of inside the ring and out.

And I'm not justifying it with them getting paid, like Muscle says in his post, it's not just about the money but it's about getting more people to watch their product. He's bringing in more viewers that wouldn't otherwise watch wrestling if he wasn't around. Instead of complaining about Rock coming back the other wrestlers should be happy they have the potential to keep those new viewers once he leaves. Again there's nothing negative about The Rock coming back. He didn't take anyone's spot like some of the wrestlers claim.

And as far as getting paid, hey CM Punk was the one that held out over the summer for more money from the WWE that included his own tour bus etc. So money IS important to him (and everyone else in life). So don't let the whole "I'm not in it for the money I'm in it for the love of wrestling" speech fool you. I don't doubt he loves wrestling but after all part of his break out speech in June had to do with him being pissed he never got a movie offer and he doesn't have as much merchandise out there as John Cena does.

Exactly. Rock = more viewers/more people watching the WWE = more people watching CM Punk = more people possibly becoming Punk fans and sticking with the product.

And The Rock didn't have to work hard to get to where he is? No one in the wrestling business gets things handed to them, everyone in the WWE has similar stories of working their butts off to even get signed. Punk was given a golden opportunity over the summer, he took it and ran with it. He's made it in the business, so good for him. Many guys work just as hard as Punk and never make it. It's part of the business. It's part of life. Some guys get lucky and are the right person at the right time.

Again it will be pretty interesting to see if CM Punk complains that Brock Lesnar is back. Because I will bet you big money there are tons of wrestlers that are pissed he's back after leaving for the NFL and then UFC then signing a big deal with limited dates he has to work for the WWE. They're probably pissed he got such a huge pop too.

It's probably both, Lucky. Rock is able to sustain a career outside of wrestling, which in essence, makes him different from the rest of the wrestlers. Wrestling and the people involved are very much stuck way behind the 8-ball in terms of allowing anything or anyone different amongst their ranks (still have an insider mentality where outsiders are frowned upon). Since Rock is now an outsider in many wrestler's eyes, it bugs them that he is "taking a spot" that he hasn't "earned."

At the same time, their Wrestlemania bonuses are now MUCH higher, the event was extremely more high profile and all of them benefitted from it.
And Punk isn't exactly a Rudy type case. The dude debuted in the WWE with a HUGE push and was even able to keep his signature name. Not too many unproven talents are afforded that privelage.

I love Punk, but Rock is good for business. And ultimately, that is what this is about.

    Also...DEAN AMBROSE IS COMING!

    You've all been warned.

Very proud of Daniel Bryan, my old trainer. As I said the other day, the initial reaction to him losing was justifiably angry. But after a few hours to sit on it, it will end up making him into a quasi-megastar. Anyone catch the Heat game tonight? The crowd started chanting, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" The crossover has begun.

Brock coming back and planting Cena was great, if not completely predictable. The best part was him mouthing "I waited a long time for this." And then kicking Cena's stupid hat out of the ring.

Jericho botched badly tonight. I really think they need to drop the drinking part and have Jericho simply go back to basics.

Del Rio is in line for a MASSIVE push, so don't expect him to go anywhere other than the main event, anytime soon. Bryan may crowbar his way back in if this sustains, but Del Rio is staying.

Gabriel and Kidd have formed a tag team. That has potential. And look for a ton of the newbies to come up soon.

I enjoyed Tensai's re-debut. WWE acknowledging his past and letting it be known that he embraced the Japanese culture and came back way better is a nice nod to history. Kudos to them.
