Hanley needs to step it up, RISP with no out and you can only must a ground out RBI. That's pathetic. Then follow that up with runner on third one out and you get two straight strike outs? We need to convert on these runs.

I'm still overworked, but at least MLB At Bat lets me stream audio for $15 a season. Much better than the MLB.tv pricing.

Now I can figure out what the heck you people are talking about.

So I may have a way for you all to watch Marlins games. PM me with details, because I don't want to post here.

Edit: Only works if you don't live in Florida.

You're being over critical. I'll take that from Hanley every single time. Especially when you consider it was 0-2 because he took a pitch when Reyes and Boner took off.

It's Gaby that didn't do his job. Can't strike out with one out and a runner on third.

Am I being overly critical? Yes. But he has been **** so far this season. So has Sanchez. And of course as I type this Hanley doubles and Sanchez gets the rbi.

I don't think we've been ****. First game sure. Second game we had the pitching but no bats. We just ran into some tough luck yesterday.

    We're alright.

Especially when Coghlan is his replacement. Bryan Peterson will be up before long.

Hanley has been ****. Like I said earlier, the team as a whole has shown some promising things. I understand that it's only game 5 of the season, but I expect more from our star player.

Not only do I live in Florida, but we're cracking down on bandwidth use at work, so that's a double no go.

I'm starting to wish I had bought a Verizon LTE iPad. I could just stream the games through MLB.tv. Would be worth it.

He hasn't been. The average isn't there yet but he's having fantastic at bats, he's walking a ton (333 obp) and hitting the ball hard. You can't take anything away from 5 games.

    Relax man.

I'm pretty sure that just means TV blackout rules apply. That is, you can't watch on MLB.tv if the game is blacked out locally.

Nope, found out the hard way. If the team offers the broadcast in your market you can't watch the game whether they are home or away. I'm in Gainesville and I can't watch Marlins games because they are blacked out. Can't watch Rays games either.

This was also the case in Tallahassee. I had MLB.tv for a couple of days (in 2005) and couldn't watch the Marlins games. I canceled it and got a refund.

That's weird. In Orlando I get both the Rays and Marlins on Sun and Foxsports.

Panthers and Heat are blacked out. Heat I get, but no clue why Panthers would be blacked out. Unless the only reason they can show TB and Marlins is that they are in different leagues

I think it's because they are offered on Sun and Fox Sports. The MLB's logic is that if it is offered in your market you don't need to watch it on MLB.tv. Which sucks for times like when I'm at the office right nor or when two nights ago Sun had the Rays and Fox Sports had the magic.

You should get DirecTV. They have SUN and FSN Alternate, both in HD. So all games on at all times.

But Panthers and Heat blacked out still

Great win against a Phillies team we should have beaten. If a team is that beat up we should win every time.

Interesting stat through one rotational turn. Zambrano is second in WHIP at 1.00 behind Nolasco who was at .75

They don't have Anibals numbers and I'm too lazy to look at the statline.

You would be correct. Buehrle at 1.5 and JJ at 2.0

Zambrano also leading the pack in K's with 6.

 He will hit 90 with consistency. I wouldn't bet any higher than that, but I do think he will reach back and hit 92 from time to time. As old as he seems he is only 30.

Rich and Tommy mentioned the main thing we have worked with him on is the angle of his release and in specific the wrist. Staying on top of the ball. I can see him having a really strong season. Most teams don't have a quality fourth starter so the reality is that he should get some good run support. Our staff 1-5 should be able to carry us a long way alone.

No but he's thrown quite a bit of innings and has been steadily losing velocity for 6 years or so.

    Like I said 90-ish.

To average 92 on the fastball you need to hit 93-94 with a little bit of consistency. That won't happen. 89-90 will be the norm and 92 will be the maxed out pitch velocity.
