I'd strongly recommend against leasing a vehicle to just about everyone except for those who are business owners and have tax incentives for leasing over owning.

There's nothing fun about always having a car payment. If you buy a solid vehicle, you can enjoy many years of no car payment. Most people buy new cars because they want a new car, not because they actually need one. But if having a new car every few years is important to you, or driving a car that's above your means to purchase outright is important, then by all means. Me, I'll stick to owning my vehicles and driving them to the point where it's no longer economically feasible to repair them. When you stop caring what everyone else thinks about the vehicle you drive, it's very liberating and financially rewarding.

I second this advise. Who wants to have to pay someone every month for a car? Debt free and buy cash! That's how we roll!

So do I, I was trying to be kind to Hyundai.

Nice! Do it. We're looking at used Q5s for the lady (and Tiguans, X3s, etc). Audi =

    Live from the Internet.
I forgot all about this thread.
My sister ended up buying a new car, so I got her old one real cheap.
Two grand for a '02 Acura RSX.
