Come on man... are we really going to spin this thread into some bashing between Ireland bashing and defending too? This thread has nothing to do with Ireland. I started this thread to discuss with people how they feel the rookie cap impacts draft value...

Not whether Ireland is good or not, or whether people are homers, objectivers (made up word?), or haters...

If arguing that a highly drafted player [at a position where success is significantly impacted by outside factors] deserves one last shot under a new OC to prove himself [after previously spending 3 years in an unchanged system whose coordinator was forcefully retired], then I guess I'm a homer, especially when factoring in the previous offensive coordinator failing to ever develop a successful rookie QB in any offense he had ever run.

You're greatly confusing objectivity with homerism b/c you, too, are guilty of the same thing R&R is. You feel that b/c someone else doesn't share your critical opinion with as much haste as you personally do, it makes them a homer. It's quite idiotic TBH. There were more than enough mitigating circumstances and historical precedence to substantiate my objective belief. If I had submitted such argument in the absence of precedence, mitigating circumstances, and supportive facts, then you'd have every right to label my opinion as homeristic. Unfortunately for you that wasn't the case.
