Thanks. Btw, sorry about having to ***** about the anti-heat media, i hadn't done that in two months...but thse idiots were on overdrive today.

Topic on sportscenter: Heat weaknesses. Spent 6 minutes breaking down imaginary weaknesses (reliance on attacking the paint is aparantly a weakness).

Yeah, teams that are able to drive to the basket SUCK. I mean its not like we have any perimeter shooting either I mean James Jones, Mike Miller (though hes been slumping) and Mario Chalmers cant shoot worth a crap! That guy Lebron James never makes a jumper either, and that D-Wade guy....wow he's terrible. Not to mention Bosh can't hit a jumper either.

    Sarcasm BTW.

I hope Shumpert works his *** off this offseason, i really love his upside. Jr Smith kills momementum every chance he gets with a horrible shot at the strangest times. Novak continues to not get enough attempts IMO. Fields??? Does some small things well, but he just isnt a good enough scorer to merit his minutes. Melo can put the ball n the hoop as well as anyone when he WANTS, JVG nailed it today about Melo and his lack of effort day in and day out, love Chandler great signing brings it. Lin and Davis need to make better decisions going foward, Amare?? I really dont know...he looks to have lost something, but his ability to rebound is sorely missed.

I really think Ny can beat Chicago and I hope thats the draw....but the Knicks didnt "tank" a GD thing, they had a chance to win the Atlantic division and blew it.

Also Mike Woodson is the best coach we have had since

They needed Amar'e today more then Lin but Lin wouldnt have hurt. Id rather have his overhyped self then Mike Bibby ever stepping on the court in an important game or relying on Davis' creaky back or JR Smith's erratic play as a PG.

Agreed. It was 47-33 Miami on the boards. When Chandler went out there was nothing inside to grab boards and not that Amare is some great rebounder but he gives you his 7-9 a game. The points in the paint the Knicks lost by 10 and he would have certainly given you something on offense.

The downside is Melo as a PF is a serious mismatch. I mean thats a problem. Hes killing these guys to the tune of 30 a night over the last 11 games with 7 rebs and 4 assists.

Shumpert is a stud. He played hurt today but if he ever gets a jumper watch out cause he can already make some sweet plays around the hoop. Hes been better over the last month or so and I think hes getting more confident but today was a stinker.

Fields, Ive been saying all year hes a nice player but hes got to be in an up tempo offense to score. He can get to the hoop but he doesnt hit foul shots. He has no confidence in his jumper and he shouldn't when hes shooting so poorly on open J's. I like what he tries to do defensively but hes a FA at years end as 2nd round picks only get 2 year deals. Will be interesting to see what the NYK try and do there. I wouldnt be surprised if he got flipped for say Dragic in a sign and trade deal as Houston needs a SF (and they run an offense where Fields would be effective) and the NYK need PG help and depth

Dont know what JVG is talking about with regard to Melo's lack of day in/day out effort. Since he got an actual coach in Woodson hes been all effort all the time. Woodson is the first coach who is challenging him to play defense. Not like George Karl's teams ever play great defense the last few years and certainly not Antoni....notice I took the D out just like he does.

Davis is washed up. He's a back up at this stage.

Amare I think gets dealt this offseason. he started to show his explosiveness again when he dropped 15 lb's in the month before he got hurt. Thats when he was just starting to play the way he can. If hes healthy though i do think the Knicks front line can be a problem for a lot of teams if they can establish the right spacing which has been an issue all year for them and will continue to be an issue. If youre going to have Melo and Shumpert as your two and three which going forward those guys are imo untouchable, then you need a PG who can shoot and slash a 4 that can stretch the D so Melo can play "bully ball" around the hoop like he does so well and a C that can rebound which Chandler can handle.

Tyson Chandler: "I don't think that's a team (Heat), that should outrebound us the way they did."

The Heat is 7th in rebound rate, and is only .7 away from 3rd.

    The Knicks are 16th.

Yes Tyson..they are a team that should outrebound you.

I'm still shocked that the Heat Index had a debate on whether Lebron James is a better defender than Chandler.

Unbelievable!!!! Lebron gets hacked every single time he goes to the rim and although he asks the officials why there was no calls on plenty of them, he usually just takes it with a smirk and goes up court.

Rose should know plenty about players intentionally roughing up other players. He has three of them on his team that do the most of it....
