I just did a little legwork (see what I did there?) on Naanee. Not impressed. What Simon would call a one-paced player, doesn't really get open on his own, gets open by scheme, doesn't do anything after the catch, inconsistent hands as well. There's a reason the Panthers let him walk even though they're not exactly loaded at the position.

 

Well why do you need Naanee when you're going to draft Michael Floyd.

 

Even if Michael Floyd were to be drafted, he wouldn't be the reason Naanee goes from #2 WR on the team to not even #5.

Steve Smith, Michael Floyd, David Gettis and Brandon LaFell still wouldn't constitute the reason for Naanee's departure. It would be the combination of Seyi Ajirotutu, Kealoha Pilares, Darvin Adams and Chris Manno.

 

Exactly. He has bad hands, bad route running, and all around is not a dynamic difference maker. Training camp body.

 

Im 100% in favor of Naanee, as long as Philip Rivers is here to throw to him.

Rivers has the ability to throw alot of WRs open....get us a QB like that and Ill start wetting my pants for our under average WR core.
