With the draft a week away, I wondering who do you all see trading up into the top 10 or say ahead of us. I just want to read some what you all think.

I dont see how say the Eagles going from the 15th pick into the top 7, How can any team with needs go from being in the top 10 and trade out, and not getting a top 10 player of this draft.

I read so much, that what the "cough" guru's are the saying there ae what 5 to 10 Top players in this draft, that can make immediate impact to your team. I know you get more draft picks, but is it really worth it, since the rookie pay scale is down and teams always firing coaches every year, is it really worth it.

If Richardson drops the Bengals are a team with ammo who may consider making a move.

The Jaguars. I have read several reports saying that they want to trade down and given their history (taking Tyson Alualu in the top half of the draft while most people rated him as a 2nd round prospect) I have a feeling they have fallen in love with a prospect that should be there in the middle to late 1st round. It almost sounds like they are desperate to trade down... I see the Eagle possibly moving up to select Fletcher Cox.

Reason being is the Jaguars would still be able to get their love child at #15 and the Eagles would jump in front of us and the Panthers. If we are in love with Tannehill we will probably sit tight and take him (not wanting to trade down), and Fletcher Cox won't make it past the Panthers. I think the Eagles are all about Cox :shifty: and would do as much as they can to get him. With the Jaguars desperate to trade down and the Eagles known for trading up watch for this to happen.

I've also heard they are infatuated with Stephen Gilmore. I don't think Gilmore falls that far in the draft so I wouldn't be surprised if it was Hill. It makes sense on several levels as Hill is a decent blocker and will stretch the field both helping MJD out.

I still wouldn't be shocked if Ireland traded down to someone who might want want to jump in front of Carolina for a defensive tackle.

I hope Jags trade out of top ten, then we can get Melvin Ingram (who is my favorite pass rusher in the draft) He could move around and play DE and OLB. I read somewhere that our defense will consist of a mix between 4-3 and 3-4 not sure if its true. If it is.. GET INGRAM!

The thing is though, I am fairly certain that the Panthers would take Cox in a heartbeat. So that means they wouldn't trade with Philly. Also if we feel that Tannehill is "OUR GUY" and we want him we will probably take him at #8 (especially considering the fact that Tannehill wouldn't make it past the Seahawks). So that means to get Cox they would have to trade with the Jaguars, which is almost a natural pairing since the Jaguars have reportedly been desperate to trade down.

If we are running both the 4-3 and 3-4 he would fit at both DE and OLB. He would be quite nice opposite Cam Wake.

On the surface I would be nervous with him on the field as a 4-3 DE vs the run.....ofcourse he could always get a little stronger and be a 3 down 4-3 DE.

He has a pretty solid base. The thing with him is he is like 264, but he is only like 6'3 so he has a good amount of weight on his frame. He should be able to hold his own. I mean Coples would be better in run support, but if you put Ingram next to Soliai and Jared Odrick (or Randy Starks orTony McDaniels), he will hold his own.

I would rather not have a T-Rex on our team, I'd take coples over ingram 20 times over

Might be misreading this but IF Philly wants Cox they have to trade up with Jax or us because the Panthers will take him. I don't think Seattle would take Tannehill at 12. I'm not convinced they need a QB at 12. They can get a QB later in the draft. Jags I think will end up taking Ingram or Coples.

    Accidentally a word.

I've said this before... you never want to be in a position where you're reaching for Cox. At worst, stay where you are and hope Cox drops into your lap.

Cox isn't a reach considering he is going 9 to the Panthers. Why would Philly just stay put. I mean I guess if you don't care what DT is there when you pick but Cox is going to the Panthers.

Let's take Von Miller as an example. His arm length is only 2 inches longer than Ingram's, he is only two inches taller, and weighs 20 pounds less. Yet he had an amazing season last year for the Broncos, and nobody said anything about his size. Von Miller even said in an interview that he is high on Ingram

So again I say... GET INGRAM!!!
