    Zeitler is a badass. OF, Really fine lineman, and especially good leader..gonna make a team very happy.

    What with Mike Adams' positive drug test at the combine, I'm guessing Massie makes it into the bottom of round 1 as the 4th OT off the board

    I like this, except, 2nd WR before OT. Marvin McNutt or Nick Toon for the 4th pick.

    That would be a good one. At that point, I'd also consider Dwight Jones or Jarrett Boykin.

    If Sherman tells Ireland Tannehill is not the guy, then I expect Floyd to be in play, IMO,,he will be better than Marshall, you replace what you traded, and the fanbase can get excited..Weeden or Wilson must come next.

    I was just thinking about something, if Tannehill is not the pick because of Sherman's intel, then I cannot think of more than a couple players I would be comfortable taking at 8, under the premonition then none of the top 6 drop, Floyd and Kuechly would be about it for me...I would have to trade down and pick up more value to select anyone else.

    Doesn't seem like many here think it will be Tannehill, pretty big change from a few weeks ago, maybe I missed something? Or maybe everyone figures Ireland is allergic to picking a skill position in the first round. I haven't really seen much of Tannehill so I don't know if it'll be a good pick or not, but I say he's our pick. If we don't pick Tannehill, I think we'll grab a QB later but don't believe it will be Weeden.

    What if Sherman thinks he's good and Ireland doesn't? Or vice-versa? The decision is Ireland's.

    That doesn't mean he hasn't discussed Tannehill with Sherman though. It just implies they didn't speak about his value at #8, and the report may not even be accurate.

    Here is my prediction:
    1. Tannehill
    2. Bruce Irvin
    3. Chris Givens
    3a. Mitchell Schwartz
    4. Greg Childs
    5. Tank Carder
    6. Ryan Miller
    7. Chase Ford

    Exactly.

    No way in hell they haven't talked Tannehill, ridiculous for anyone to assume that.

    1. Fletcher Cox (I think Philbin and CO understand they need to add a pass rusher to the rotation).
    ** If Cox is off the board I would try very hard to trade down and take Tannehill in the middle of the 1st or Weeden in the 20's

    2. Nick Perry, Once again, the Fins need to add pass rushers and Perry is just an athletic freak that produced on the field
    ** There is a lot of talk the Kendall Wright is going to slid into the 2nd round, would be a very touch to pass on him if he is there.

    3a. Chris Givens, Fins need to add a couple WR's.
    ** If Givens is gone I would be all over Juron Criner.

    3b. Mitchell Schwartz OT Cal
    ** James Brown OT Troy St. Bit of a project guy as he os coming from a small college program but he is athletic and I think that is what Philbin is going to want going forward from his OL.

    4. Ryan Broyles Smaller WR who was super productive until he got hurt. You have to wonder how much of Jones' struggles were because he lost his #1 WR.
    ** If the FIns end up with Wright and Givens I would go defense with this pick and that player would be Trevor Guyton DE from Cal

    5. Russel WIlson, project QB

    6. Ryan Miller OG, Colorado, For those of you that have not seen Miller play he is big guy that excels in the running game. My interest in him comes from the fact he can get to the 2nd level. The guy is raw and will take a season or two to get ready IMO.

    7a. Brian Linthicum TE Michigan St, every time I watched high lights of Kirk Cousins it was BL that stood out to me. BTW, I think KC stinks... the guy never looks off his intended receiver and has an unbelievable knack for throwing the ball into coverage.

    I agree with the partner thing but, I really dont see that preference this yr. If Tannys there he knows that's the move to make. Ireland is a strong minded person but with all the hype he'll take Tanny even if he believes its better spent elsewhere IMO. You can only turn a blind eye for so long till you realize unfounded perception could lose you your job. He takes Tanny he gets two yrs to see if he works out, if not and we have a bad yr he's gone this season. If Tanny works then hes savior if not he didnt lose anything .

    EDIT: This is if Sherman is on board! Sure theres other options later, but fully expect the qb in the first this time JMO

    RD1 = Ryan Tannehill
    RD2 = Chandler Jones, maybe move up with one of our thirds but still see him here in rd2 he just a Cuse guy
    after that Im lost

    rd3 = OT
    rd4 = WR
    rd5 = TE

    No doubling up this yr imo till later rds

    I’m going with

    8. QB - Ryan Tannehill
    42. DE - Andre Branch
    73. WR - Mohamed Sanu
    74. OT - Brandon Brooks
    105. WR – Ryan Broyles
    147. CB - Omar Bolden

    If not Tannehill, then I’ll swap David DeCastro @ 8 and Russell Wilson @ 74.

    That's not what Philbin meant when he said he looks at the draft differently than Ireland and his staff. Part of what he said is that the coaches tend to fall in love with players, while the FO guys are too busy comparing players to fall in love with them. Philbin acknowledged that he has spoken with Sherman and used him as a resource on Tannehill. They would be stupid not to. Check the official site if you want to hear exactly what Philbin said... vs what Armando is looking to spin.

    I'am gonna predict that Weeden turns out to be the better Qb, My concerns about Tannehill would not allow me to draft him at 8, can't do it when I think there are better players..But I will root my *** off for him to succeed if he's ours.

    Lol, boy, two thirds left, fourth, fifth,man, can't leave this draft without Wylie, Carder and Wilson. Pretty accessible with those remaining picks.

    I'd love to get Miles Burris. He reminds me of Kevin Greene.
    In the 3rd, I'd like to see Ronnell Lewis too.

    In the 6th and 7th, I like both the Va Tech WRs, Jarrett Boykin and Danny Coale.
    Granted, if we do get Blackmon, then we need just one more WR to be drafted.

    I'd double up on pass rushers and WRs only, I think.

    I like it but there is no need to jump the gun on Wilson. I think he could be a steal but also think he could be had in the 3-4 area

    Anyone else thin that our passing on Tannehill at 8 could create a free fall based on our percieved intel? That could be excellent for us if he fell, either getting Tanny later or Weeds later than expected.

    I don't buy that Buffalo, Seattle, and Philly would take him. I think he falls into the 20s unless someone moves up. I'm hoping he falls to 22 to Cleveland then Miami can get Weeden.

    Nice call on Burris big C, kinda player Id like to see on our team as well, you know what I always say, its gonna take special players to win in this town and in that stadium, well built athlete, quicker than most think, enthusiastic to the core, deceptively good feet and hands, good instincts, rarely gets to the ground without the ball carrier with him, and is the epitomy of relentlessness..I got Tank a bit higher on my board, but if hes available in the 5th, would be a good player to have.
