Ofcourse it does, I have a softball doubleheader and would have to miss it. Here is to hoping that's not the case.

Well it's true. Not only that but the Heat have beaten us like 10+ times straight in the regular season, plus 4 out 5 in the playoffs last year. We've at least tied with the Bulls the last 2 seasons.

Really though, Turner just wants the chance to knock his mortal enemy out the playoffs.

The NBA is doing somehting different this year and I think, something really stupid.

BOTH Chicago and Miami will start their series on Saturday this year.

The Schedule is a mess this year. No uniformity like past years:

Chicago, Miami, Indiana & OKC will all host Game 1s on Saturday. Spurs, Lakers & both 4/5 series will start Sunday.

Kobe Bryant needs exactly 38 points to overtake Kevin Durant for the scoring title. Lakers appear to be resting all of their starters tonight EXCEPT Kobe. Anyone care to venture on whether or not he gets it?

Me thinks 2006 Kobe is about to make an appearance.

Ehh, looks like a selfish pointless move.. Isn't rest more important with a condensed schedule?

Well it helps me out so I'm happy. Go 6ers tonight, Charlotte will be playing their *** off against Knick backups to avoid being the worst team in history.

My only regret for a Heat / Knicks series is that I love that stat of it being over 4,000 days since the Knicks won a playoff game, and it is gonna be hard for anybody to sweep this Knicks team.

So the pressure is on the Heat to keep that stat alive.

If this does happen and it seems likely, I will enjoy the last 4-5 games of the Knicks season and hope a fight breaks out in wich a Knick beats up a Heat player AND they get a few suspensions then get beat in the next round.

Tyson Chandler? Time to get physical.

Kobe hasn't played much recently due to his shin. Usually I would agree that rest is important, but he can probably use the extra playing time to get right for Sunday. Also, the Kings have nothing to play for, neither do the Lakers. If there is ever a time to go after a selfish, personal accomplishment...this is the game in which to do it.

I was more or less referring to playing with a bunch of scrubs, forcing him to take any and all shots, but I suppose a poorly worded joke could suffice as well.

ah, no. it was worded fine. "gonna" is acceptable in short writing. You don't have to write "going to".

Yeah that is the one thing about him that always stands out about him to me, he has great foot quickness and lateral agility for such a large player.

I actually HOPE for this scenario. If for no other reason than I suspect that the title means more to KD than KB and as such, the look on KD's face knowing that KB is purposely ripping it from him by forcing bad shot after bad shot, would be hilarious.

I suspect that Kobe is more interested in ripping it form the hands of KD than simply winning the scoring title. If that makes sense...

How in the hell can NY compete?

Going to need JR Smith and Novak to be lights out and keep Miami off the free throw line. Ofcourse it's the playoffs so the home team will get the calls so not sure they can steal one in Miami.

Because when people feel threatened they talk themselves up to rid them of their insecurities. When you know you are the best, you don't even need to say it.

David Stern was on LeBatard, and he admitted to getting yelled at by Wade during lockout negotiations. That rumor was around for a while, but nobody would confirm it before.
