I don't think I could survive the draft listening to Mel Kiper and Todd McShay for that extended of a period of time.

NFL Network is a more enjoyable watch, I'm a fan of Casserly and Mayock (at least over McFail and The Hair).

ESPN radio is all over the Jets moving up for Richardson story....

Not sure I would like this as we want the ball in Nacho's hands whenever possible.

I usually switch back and forth.....but I literally would rather set my scrotum on fire than listen to Chris Berman choke on his own tongue while speaking and flailing his hands about like a spirtit fingered cheerleader. I can't stand that clown.

    So.....nfln it is

That is exactly what I'm hoping for from Miami.

If Tannehill is who you really want then you don't dick around and play games. You just take him at 8. getting too cute often bites you in the ***.

Pfffttt. Silly. VALUE is more important than getting good players. That's what the draft is all about. It's about how many picks you can acquire, not who you actually choose with those picks.

If the story is true, then we get Tannehill, if he's still there. Big Kahuna trumps all others.

I don't buy the media drama fest about Ross forcing Tannehill on Ireland. The media are pushing a story that we have no ability to prove wrong other than not picking Tannehill, and if Ireland wants him it will be always thought that Ross pushed it. Its bull**** imo.

Ireland is going to do what he thinks is right.

50 picks are worthless if you don't draft worth a ****. BTW we're talking about a franchise position here. marino wasn't rated particularly high in 83 either. Just sayin. One thing we do know is that we've not had any success drafting QBs later on.

Big, Strong arm, good accuracy, great athleticism, played in a pro style offense....the same offense we will be running in miami, smart as hell (future othopedic surgeon)....just needs experience. Draft the ****ing kid #8 and hit on some good mid round picks! Build our damn team for a nice future!

I don't want Tannehill but if hes there guy and the franchise's hope at the qb position then you don't dick around and trade down

Will NFL.com be showing a live stream again?

Also, anyone sick and tired of broadcasts showing the green room and whos on the telephone before the pick is announced! No suspense anymore. :tantrum:

Got good news for you then. The NFL has put an end to that. ESPN nor NFLN will be showing kids get the call, and they will not be annoucing anything until the pick is annouced.

It should be awesome this year...

Billick just said it's not a deep DE draft.

Expect Miami to pick a DE in the first 2 rounds if that's true.

Disagree, I think you can get quality DE's for 2 rounds and it is one of the deeper positions in the draft.

Basically said that if Miami feel he is the player they want then he is worth the risk , only caught the last few mins of it as i forgot to turn the sound back on after the adverts and some annoying prick talking :(

Casserly is off his rocker. DeCastro at 24? Not going to happen.

Hell, if Miami passed on Tannehill at 8 for DeCastro (or Kuechly) I wouldn't be AS upset as them drafting other guys. Because I know each of those will start from day one and would be major improvements for us.

Miami is really trying to be more open. They are 1 of 12 teams whose draft rooms are available during the NFL draft.

You guys are reading this too hard. Ireland said he knows what he wants to do, the 10-15s are all screaming "we'll take Tanny"! and the Jags are screaming we'll trade to 8 for him and all that jazz. I don't believe it. I think Tannehill is rated somewhere lower for Miami and the first team I see drafting him is all the way at 22 with Cleveland.

My guess at the end of the day is Miami calls these team's bluff and trades down to 15 where they take him.

Yes it is. DeCastro is the best guard since Steve Hutchinson. He will go top 20. I'll be surprised if he's not gone by 15. He's considered one of the top 5 players in this draft regardless of position.

That Eagles 2nd round pick from Arizona. That's the pick to watch. That's what Ireland very likely wants in order to get a RT and a defensive end in round two or to use the two picks to trade up for a DE. Considering the interest around Fletcher Cox I would guess that's who Miami wants to be picked at 8 by the Eagles. Would the Eagles pay that 2nd to move up and get him?

    yeah I think they would.

Would be interesting with 2 x 2s , would we package them to say get Weedon late in the first ? Distinct possibility if we trade of of #8 and pick up 2nd that we do that IMO

Still betting on Blackmon at 8 and Weedon in the 2nd , just got a feeling. May be coz im on the beers already but hey it cant hurt :D
