Ok, so who are we targeting at 42?

We got our QB in Tannehill. What's next?

Fleener and Upshaw are the 2 obvious ones. Who else? Pass rusher? Jeffery?

Just get weapons for the offense. I doubt Fleener drops to us, but I'd love him.

I'd prefer to draft Tannehill a 2nd time.

Sorry. I'll fall asleep in a drunk stupor soon.

Id be thrilled for fleener to drop to us but wouldnt mind upshaw or Jeffery either. Looks like a lot of options will be there for us either way

Vinny Curry is the best fit for us. Great pass rushing specialist, he will be great opposite Cam Wake.

I'd really love Upshaw at 42. That'd be my dream scenario at this point, and I'd even move up to the top of round 2 to get him, but that's just me.

Other targets would be Bobby Massie, Alshon Jeffery, Reuben Randle, Coby Fleener, and Jeff Allen.

But, above all, I'd prefer Courtney Upshaw. I think he'd be perfect for the hybrid defense.

Someone who can score touchdowns. I know it sounds like a stupid comment, but we have nobody on our team outside of Reggie Bush that is a true offensive weapon.

Bobbie Massey or a WR. I don't see them going DE once Curry gets picked ahead of their pick.

even though we had to use a 1st rounder on a QB, it's over. Ireland doesn't have to have that in the back of his mind now. Ireland likely just banked an extra year of employment. Maybe more.

I would tend to draft the BPA, less the obvious positions such as Left Tackle. I'll defer to the gurus on who that might be.

Curry is on my wishlist. Wouldn't complain about Upshaw if he lasts. Fleener at 42? Hill or Randle at WR would be great value at 42. Silatolu at guard would be solid.

Alshon all the way. If he's gone, target Fleener or best available OL. Maaaybe Curry.

Fleener and Curry are my top choices. Curry fills the biggest need, but Fleener is my BPA.

I don't think Fleener makes it to the Dolphins pick and we pass I will be mad. Perfect for today's game, can line up at WR also.

Upshaw is most likely next, Misi may not even be coming back if he is in jail.

I think Fleener comes off the board to the Colts and I don't think Upshaw makes it to us, we are most likely looking at Massie, Curry or Jeffery at 42. I'll take Curry.

Yeah, I was going to say DeCastro, or even Kevin Zeitler. Either would've made sense. I could see Nick Perry as well.

    Some potential targets:
Cordy Glenn (Don't know how well of a scheme fit he is)
Jonathan Martin (Better fit, questionable motor)
    Reuban Randle
Janorice Jenkins (we spent a lot of time with him before the draft, crazy value in the 2nd round as he is probably the best cover CB in this draft)
Peter Konz (I'd love to add him inside next to Pouncey, but I bet the Ravens take him)
    Stephen Hill
    Mike Adams (eh)
    Bobby Massie
    Kelechi Osemele
Courtney Upshaw (still don't know how I feel about him as he is a man without a position, could be nice as a strong side DE though)
Lavonte David (smaller, but crazy production)
    Josh Robinson
    Tramaine Johnson

I wouldn't be surprised if we traded down a little too, maybe we could target Sanu in the middle to late 2nd.

    ALSHON JEFFERY.
if that guy can get his head straight then i honestly think that in like 4 years you will see him on NFL Networks top steals... but again, only if his head is straight

john martin is also still on the board and is worth a look. i like curry A LOT as well, upshaw would obviously be great pick and fleener i think is the next pick of the draft to the colts... but to make sure of any of these guy we are looking at trading up

We have a bunch of holes to fill... As long as we're drafting talent at positions of need, I'm cool.

I'm really interested in Janoris Jenkins... I hate the red flags. I'm nervous to gamble... However, the kid is arguably the most talented DB in the entire draft. Arguably a top 5-0 talent, period... How many opportunities do you get to draft a shutdown corner in round 2?

We play in a division against Tom Brady, Mark Sanchez, and Fitz. While only one is elite, all three can be dangerous. All three have targets to throw to. VD took a step back last year, IMO. SS24 has never lived up to expectations. Our Secondary is the biggest weakness on the defense. Jenkins would help.

Boik is going to freak. We had quite the discussion in the chat room about RT being a bigger need then #2 DE. Philbin has gone on quite a bit about the need to improve the OL that I think our next pick is likely Bobbie Massie.
