Damn....that sucks. Not sure how I missed his last post and his talking about cancer, but damn if that just didn't bring a tear to my eyes. Had to search back for it and wow is all I can say. Prayers sent to his family and friends.
My thoughts and prayers to your family, JS.... Even tho I didn't know you personally, you'll always be my brother Fin fan...we've enjoyed your contributions to this and other forums for years and will miss you going forward... RIP...
Asatho Maa Sad Gamaya. Thamaso Maa Jyothir Gamaya. Mrithyur Maa Amritham Gamaya. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti. From untruth lead us to Truth From darkness lead us to Light. From death lead us to Immortality. Om Peace, Peace, Peace.
This is very sad news indeed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. To JS; you were one of my favorite posters on this board from the time I first joined. Although we never spoke or met, we often thanked and supported each other when debating our favorite football team with others. We shared the same philosophies (no surprise, as we came from the same era). We're both old school and very passionate about our Dolphins. I will miss you brother. I know you're hearing Mad Dog's voice as I write this. In fact, you're probably kickin' it with him right now. May you rest in peace. Always with Jetssuck!
He passed quickly after writing that last email guys, he must have been in some real fu$king pain at that point, that hurts my heart.....It however warms my heart, that he was dying, knew he was dying...was in ALOT of pain...yet he came on here in his last days, a forum with a bunch of football fans on it that he never met (with the exception of a few), and said goodbye....amazing..... Goodbye JS, love ya bro....
I keep reading this thread headline and it sucks. Its pretty sad. Its crazy how sad it is considering I dont JS personally. Damn.
As I approach 50, it gives me pause. Life is very short. Live life to the fullest. RIP fellow Fins fan.
A man with a true passion for the Miami Dolphins and a really good person! See you on the otherside my friend!
JS may have departed the Forum but his memory lives on through all of us that had the honor of sharing time with him through this site. His spirit lives on with us, and through us and will never be forgotten. It is spirits such as his that makes this such a great site and he will forever be a part of it.
Wow that's incredibly sad. Best wishes to his family in friends. I'm sure he's still rooting for the Dolphins as hard as ever from heaven.
We have taken your suggestion to heart and have created a sub forum called Rest in Peace under the Announcements forum. http://www.thephins.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?109-Rest-In-Peace You can pay your respects in there .Hopefully it will be a seldom used forum but it will be there just like a headstone so that we can remember our valued member who has passed away so young. In addition we have added Jetssucks avatar to our standard avatar selection. RIP Jetssuck you will be missed
Things like this make me proud to be a part of this place. I know I have had an attitude unfitting of me lately but I've been going thru a lot this past year and a half with members of my family. Years back Jetssuck was a member of the Feidler sucks group and I saw him ridiculed and banned from a lot of the Dolphins forums because he never backed down from his stance. It was really good to see him find this place and make so many friends here... But this is truely a great idea...
J.E.T.S. SUCK! SUCK! SUCK! J.E.T.S. SUCK! SUCK! SUCK! J.E.T.S. SUCK! SUCK! SUCK! C.A.N.C.E.R. F.N. SUCKS! Aloha brah.
It's a sad day when any spirited and passionate as JS leaves us ... i know i thoroughly enjoyed his posts, bantor and undaunted love and support of the Dolphin Nation. We all will see you in 'FINHEAVEN' (no pun intended) some day ... but until then -- keep'em honest! RIP ....
Awful, awful news. I think re-naming the Lounge, the Jetssuck Lounge would be most apt. I think that's a true reflection of the feelings of the people here. Good guy.
I will also add that his avatar location said: "PERFECTVILLE" I hope that's where he woke up this morning.
I'd post something long and meaningful if I could stop crying every time I think or read about it. Jetssuck was the only person I've ever friended on a message board. And I was honored that he asked me. I've talked to him for over a decade and miss him something fierce... He was such a class act. You will be missed but never forgotten brother.
