Funny you say that as I was just looking at the Bungles and thinking...DAMN. Green Bay also has done alot with a little. Miami and the reach for Vernon has put a damper on what is otherwise a solid draft. Ive watched every video I can find on Oliver and im struggling to see anything special. Unfortunatly
We doing alright, to me I'd like to add Brandon Washington in the 5th and Adrian Hamilton in the 7th.
The rams are really poising themselves for 3 years down the road if Branford gets it together to being a contender
Was not thrilled with the Rams draft actually. Brockers was a weird pick for them, a developmental run stuffing DT - they passed on the two best wideouts in the draft. Yeah JVille jumped them for Blackmon, but they couldnt have pulled a Cleveland and traded a pair of mid rounders to ensure they got their man? The corners they picked have talent, but they have issues. Fisher has gone that route before with Pacman, and that didn't end up great. I can see how it may end up good, but it could also be a disaster. High rick on this one. I thought the Packers and Pats did well targeting specific players and getting them. Vikes did a good job. Spielman really bent one over on Cleveland, some really solid work by him.
If I were a Rams fan I sure would be alot more optimistic than a Phin fan for whatever that's worth. Although the lack of attention to the OL is puzzling, they have a real nice young playmaking front 7, signed Courtland Finnegan drafted Jenkins who may or may not be a huge steal, I have been a fan of Brian Quicks for a while now although nobody couldve predicted him going that high..I still feel like his upside is pretty high. Amendola returning now they have 2 good TE's?? I like the future of the Rams and the decisions by Fisher thus far.
I know their owner had a very good, discreet sucking for luck plan, but they got him, and with Fleener and Allen, it's hands down the best in the Nfl...deadly freaking attack..I hate them..
I think if you are looking at the draft from top to bottom the Bengals had the best draft. I am not particularly high on Dre Kirkpatrick and I think they could have picked someone a little better than Kevin Zeitler, but their draft class as a whole was incredible. Dre Kirkpatrick Kevin Zeitler Devon Still Mohamed Sanu Brandon Thompson Orsen Charles Shaun Prater Marvin Jones George Iloka Dan Herron
Agree about the Bengals, they are building a powerhouse down in Cincy. The Eagles just drafted SO well to fit their needs though, guess you cant go wrong with either.
I really loved the Eagles draft too. Other teams that stood out to me include: Steelers, Bucs (Love their first three picks Mark Barron, Doug Martin, and Lavonte David) The teams that really drafted great this year in no particular order were: Eagles Bengals Steelers Bucs Colts (Not crazy about drafting two TEs on a team with numerous holes, but I like T.Y. Hilton and some other pieces they added later in the draft).
