Same here, tbh though I think Smith from mizzou could be a steal, he has the raw material to be a effective passrusher.

What I noticed is they signed cats who were really athletic, multi sport athletes.

The Tackle from OR for example, imo he is a guard, and probably will beat out Nate Garner for a roster slot in the new offense.

i always liked jacquies smith from missouri i always felt he had serious potential but underachieved IMO

Well, to me I'm thinking they will "James Starks" him, he is coming off of an ACL and seems like a good player to stash on the practice squad.

I like the fuller pick as well however what I dont like is that he was one of the reason and contributors to Tannehill's 80 dropped passes last year! We have had enough of that here in the past...

 

While I do think some people are inherently more natural catchers than others, I think drops are something that can be worked out of someone's game more often than not (especially if they haven't always had that issue). Concentration (and not pressing the issue) are the most important things you need to not have a "drop."

 

Just sort of skimming over Fuller's youtube stuff and it seems to me he also is not very strong for such a large Wr.

 

He has a chance, not sure a big one, but he was a draftable guy.

 

I think that is Jeff Fullers problem, it's def not talent..

I am shocked that Vontaze Burfict went undrafted! Of course we have all heard about his off the field issues but many think he had at least 2-3 rd talent and would be a great option to see what he can and will do!

 

Thats too bad. What determines who goes to what camp to try out? First to call? Preference of player?

 

Like coach said in his after hire address , he wanted a team that was athletic and could run . We saw the draft , this is a different draft and different team . I sincerely believe Philbin was and is the hire that was needed and it sure looks like Jeff Ireland is in sync with Philbin's view.

 

Whichever team wants him that he reaches a mutual agreement with. He is not obligated to sign with anyone, as for order of call, amount of contract or whatever. He is a signed UDFA as far as I know. Not a tryout player.


BTW, The Boondock Saints totally rock. Especially the first one.
