This a no win situation for UK in the Music City Bowl. If they win, they beat FSU's JV team, making it a hollow victory. If they lose then, well, they lose to the FSU JV team.
WOW!!! 20 suspensions? Whew, this year's Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl is really gonna' take a hit in prestige.
Cheating scandal could cripple FSU An academic cheating scandal could leave Florida State without as many as 25 players when the Seminoles go against Kentucky in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 31. http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/7579570?FSO2&ATT=MA
This is the problem with NCAA DI athletics for the most part nowadays... academics are coming second.
Hey Motion, your Buddy here....LOL. I have a VERY reliable contact in Overland Park, that happens to be in the law business...wink, wink that tells me this is way more than 20 plus suspensions. The FSU initial internal apparently reeked of cover up or incompetence. That is why heads have rolled at FSU at the admin level to the point of AD resignation. They are into full damage control and DO NOT want NCAA investigators digging into their program. They and the NCAA know there is more there and it becoming a more adversarial relationship by the day. Apparently there are some mid level NCAA people that are very pissed at the arrogance of FSU sports administration with regard to submitting such a obviously bad initial internal report. I know us Gator/Canes feel so bad for FSU and Hippo Krit Saint Bobby....LOL
This is the Seminoles....I could care less if the Gator fans, Cane fans, Banana slug fans, or Anteater fans rub it in...that athletic program is the epitomy of hypocrisy and all about image not reality...they have been exposed not caught....Gator fans have enough to worry about with their 11 arrests this year and the game against the guards........by the way do you think that game will be in Gainesville or Stark? I have it on good authority there is a lot more to find at FSU...the only question is does the NCAA want to set the precedent by circumventing Self Reporting, and where and how much do they (NCAA) want to expose (what jurisidicition for investigation has been established). FSU is in full damage control because they DO NOT want the NCAA looking into the program...there is a lot more to clean up before they would welcome that. This is Reliable and Inside info....cannot establish the credibility so you will have to trust me on this one.. FSU will be tough in self imposed penalties because they have to, the NCAA knows what is there, FSU knows they know, and it is a black eye on both the NCAA and FSU if it comes out, so NCAA is hoping FSU handles it in house and FSU gets the bigger black eye..... despite some mid level people at the NCAA being mighty pissed.......including one NCAA outsourced lawyer...................
boys played their asses off. lost a heartbreaker. oh well, time to focus on next year, another rebuilding one IMO
