I know it may be early yet. I know that signing rookies is light years easier than in the past. I don't feel that there are going to be any holdouts and we have plenty of time. I know we are somewhat tight against the cap. But is anyone else wondering why so many other teams have signed so many of their rookies and we haven't ??
I thought I read somewhere that Ireland was taking his time with the rookies. He prioritized getting Wake's deal done first. With all the other rookies getting signed it only makes it easier for us to get signed.
Its crossed my mind, but I don't think there is any real urgency right now. We are close on the cap, but I think Ireland is doing a good job with the cap so far. At least we have something to look forward to every day when we open the sports section, to see if any rookies are signed yet.
