I JUST saw this. What a TRAGEDY!!! I never knew she had cancer. The fond memories her music brings back.... "Last Dance" "On the Radio" "Hot Stuff" "Bad Girls" "Dim All the Lights" "She Works Hard for the Money" Rest in Peace Donna. In my eyes, you are more than a treasure. You're a legend who will live on throughout the ages in your music.
She was one of the first lady singers I listened to and really liked. She seemed to have a great personality when you watch her on TV. A real treasure is lost. She was one of the first African Americans I remember breaking the color barrier and marrying a white man during the height of racial turmoil in the US. RIP.
