There's talk that signing the rookies to soon, as some teams are, could bite them in the long run. back before the latest cba was implemented Gm's usually waited til camp to sign players, now with the current structure, staffs are signing these rookies early and putting money in their pocket early.Some are saying that's a bad thing.?
To me this is not a bad thing but a good thing. It seems to me that the Gm wants to save money and focus on the future. But that is my opinion though.
I think they mean that giving young rookies early money who haven't proved anything, that it could become a distraction, basically young rooks were never paid at this stage so there is some uncertainty.
Their agents front them all the money they need.....anyways....so....I dont see any issue with this...
