Pittman is a POS. That was a dirty move.

 

Haslem should be fined and Pittman should be suspended, IMO.

 

The way the Pacers have played this series they deserve anything they have coming to them.

 

I can't believe he did that. That was f*cking horrible.

 

I'm sorry but the way I see it don't beg for a fight if you don't want to get hit.

So they play tough basketball and you retaliate by doing what Pittman did in the last 20 seconds of the game?

BS. He should be suspended 5 games if not more.

 

If you keep getting in peoples faces, making choke signs, and acting like you want to fight well...eventually you will get hit.

I hope he isn't seriously hurt, but maybe next time he or his team mates want to act like thugs on the court they will think about it harder.

 

I don't disagree that he should be suspended. I'd suspend him for the rest of the playoffs. But I dont have any issue with what he did really. Though I wish he'd have shoulder checked him instead of the elbow.

 

So you do that because he made a choking gesture to Lebron! Even though he apologized for it?

They played within the game. They played tough basketball. You retaliate by playing the way Miami did today. You do NOT do what Pittman did and should NOT be OK with it. That was horrible.

 

You really are ok with that? That's unbelievable. You shouldnt be. That was so classless and stupid. Indiana did nothing but play tough style ball. It was within the game.

 

They aren't playing tough basketball. In game two they grabbed Wade by the waist mid air and twisted him and pushed him to the ground. No foul call. In game three they THREW Lebron to the ground a couple possessions before the Wade hit. All series they haven't been playing tough, they have been playing like dirty thugs.

 

Like I said though, I'd have much preferred a should tackle to the flying elbow, that could have hurt him.

 

Thugs? I didn't see any of that. I saw them playing tough basketball. Miami held their composure until today. That was pathetic.

 

The Haslem foul I'm perfectly fine with and I don't feel he should get suspended. The Pittman foul was ridiculous and he should be suspended for awhile. The eye wink and constant looking back at LeBron for congratulations was pretty poor taste as well.

That said, maybe the Pacers will knock off the tough guy act and Granger will act like the non story he is again.

What he did was not basketball. But they played within the game? They've been tossing Heat players to the ground since game one. Chopping at their heads since game one, and pounding their chests in the face of Heat players since game one. The intimidation game times one hundred. That's not pro basketball that they've been playing.

 

I guess my only point is don't go trying to taunt people into hitting you if you don't want to be hit. Yes the foul was excessive and it should result in a long suspension, but the Pacers have no-one to blame but themselves.

 

Go back to game 4 on here and you'll see that I said, I hope they unlesh Pitman or Howard on Granger but I wanted them to do it then. I'm fine with what happened. It was not classy but given how they've tried to get away with all the BS that they have, I'd have done it too...

 

He finally contributes to being part of the game plan and you had to call him that?

No they can blame Pittman. Let's not forget Miami wasn't playing soft, either. Wade decked Collison into the floor on a fast break. It was a physical series. What Pittman did had NOTHING to do with basketball.

 

Fitting that Granger aggrevates his ankle injury while trying to grapple James, preventing him from driving the lane.
These pricks wanted a fight they got one. They pissed off the wrong team.

 

Except for the time Tyler Hansbrough hit Wade in the head. After he hit him in the head, he receives a high-five from Admundson. The Pacers had numerous plays that would be classified as dirty.

 

For every one "physical" play we've had they've made about ten dirty ones. Yes it was classless. Yes it was not a very nice thing to do. Yes I'd be ready to fight their entire team if it had happened the opposite way. However they started it, not us.

 

Well, I saw them playing thug ball for 5 games now. Finally the Heat repsonded. I would have done something 3 games ago though. Call it classless if you will but for you to say they played nothing but tough basketball is wrong. When a player is driving to the hoop the defender can bump into him, slap at his arm really hard as long as he gets some ball, but to see them grab the player by the shoulder and fling him to the ground is not tough basketball. They've done it countless times and have even admitted to trying to make them think about going to the hole again.

 

So did the Heat. West accused someone of trying to blow out his knee.

 

Not true. Both teams were playing physical. They were more physical but the Heat weren't exactly angels.

 

I haven't seen anyone even put a hard foul on West.....

 

It sure didn't! That was telling him to shut his mouth while he is on the bench and that it is a very very very classless thing to do when you hold up a choke sign while screaming at the Heat bench the entire time when they were ahead in points. Their coaches should have shut him up. He got what he deserved

 

The Heat have had dirty plays, too. I'm not denying the Pacers haven't played dirty but to do what Pittman did was stupid. And if you're OK with it then you should be ashamed. That was terrible what he did.

 

You're over exaggerating it. He apologized for what he did.

I don't approve of using the elbow so much as I approve of hitting him equally as hard in a less dangerous way.

 

Yeah well West is full of crap! These guys have hinted that this was going to be their motto since their coach opened him mouth before the series started. Trying to get the Refs to let both teams play so they could knock the snot out of the Heats stars in any manner.

 

Like I said, I would understand retaliation. I would have done nothing but I would understand it. But to do what he did and then say you're ok with it is wrong.

You're overlooking it! He was FORCED to say he was sorry by his coaches!!!!!! He is a part time, scub player, and at the time, his coaches let him run his mouth over to the Heat bench and then he throws the choke sign up? You do know that he was screaming at the Heat bench since game one right?

 

The thing is I don't think he was trying to hit him in the neck/throat area so much as just knock him down. Thats why I don't have a "problem" with it so much. But there would have been better ways of course.

 

I'm not over looking anything. If he is a part time bench scrub or a Hall of Famer, you don't hit him like that. He apologized, Lebron got his shots in by saying he doesn't even want to waste time talking about him. You move on.
