We'll see. Well, we'll know everything is okay when we see him troll Wade or James during their interview.

Russell Westbrook plays excellent defense on KD.

This was before the spurs traded for jack and picked up diaw I think not sure I thought we played them pretty early in the season. Also I think I recall the heat hitting like 18 3's in that game plus looking at the regular season match up rarely pans out in the playoffs. The heat would have to play amazing to beat the spurs I honestly wanted the thunder were just a better version of them.

Playing very well but I still think OKC can even the series at home

All, I'm saying is they can be beat and again, Wade did not play in that one either. I'm not predicting anything but OKC was down huge in this one and almost made a game of it. Trapping Parker was a big mistake they made early on....

Spurs have some serious holes that Miami can exploit, should they get there.

Here is the thing with the Spurs....

First of all, Scott Brooks is sabotaging his team in this series, but he might have turned the corner.

    You CANNOT trap the Spurs.

All they do is high pick and roll, then drive and kick. It is ALL Tony Parker driven. The second unit is more of an ISO unit with Ginobli running the show.

If you need any help in guarding Duncan, then you already lost. Heat can guard Duncan straight up. They need to shut down Parker, and they win. Simple as that. The Heat has had success shutting down point guards.

As for Ginobli, his matchup is Dwyane Wade. I think Heat fans are cool with that.

I agree. The spurs are obviously an excellent team and I'm not suggesting the Heat is a lock against them, but SA has not experienced anything like the defense Miami (or even Boston for that matter) would throw at them in the playoffs thus far.

A 120-111 game in the playoffs is exciting and all, but it is more representative of two bad defenses than historically great offenses, like all the SA slobbering would have you believe.

I continue to believe the same thing I thought last year. When you have a sport where only 5 guys play at a time, and two of your guys are LBJ and Wade for roughly 40 of the 48 minutes, I'll take my chances against all comers, presuming LBJ remains LBJ and doesn;t turn into the imposter who showed up games 4-6 of the Finals last year

I don;t think the casual basketball fan has an appreciation for how bad the defense in last nights game was.

120-111 in a NBA playoff game nowadays is a joke.

Come on it's the western conference, obviously us fans of the East don't understand the complexities of a 120-111 defensive battle that the west brings.

I don;t understand how a guy that would murder anybody in the high post, doesn't do it more than a couple times a game. Dirk got into the hall of fame that way.

I don't think the Spurs' defense was bad. To me, they just seem to lose focus and wanted to be done with the game when they got to a big lead and controlling the game.

I don't think a team like the Spurs will lose focus against an offense like the Thunder...in the playoffs.

Not necessarily bad. They were playing OKC, who is one of the most efficient offenses in the NBA. Relatively speaking, it was bad though, especially when you consider this is the WCF.

But, they rank 6th in defensive efficiency for the post-season, out of 16 teams. They aren't bad overall, but they are only an average defensive team. Whether they can win with a great offense and average defense will be seen. IMO they are a little overrated right now.

I think the one on one match up between Ginobli and hair loss is more intriguing.

One thing that the Heat can do and OKC can't vs. the Spurs is this...

They can switch ALL of those pick and rolls. Heat can start Chalmers on Parker and not worry about it.

OKC MUST play their small lineup and switch those P&R's. if they insist on going with their bigs, they will get killed by simple P&R's. it really is simple basketball. this is not brain surgery.

Well, OKC needs to pressure the ball when it comes up court, maybe play some zone as well but they just are not that advanced a team defensively speaking.

Problem with the spurs P&R is they do so much off of the action, this is not Stockton and Malone P&R.

Which surprisingly espn actually said this morning. Perkins really needs to be a fixture on the bench, he's killing that team.

Where do you guys look to find efficiency and that?

Hopefully either MKG or Beal fall to 4. I'd be ok with Drummond though.
